A Syndicate remake would be superb if done right. Pretty much all the Bullfrog classics could be done again and be big successes. None of the Theme Park sequels lived up to the original, they should have another go.

A Reunion remake would be nice, alternatively they could make Reunion 2 (it was due to be released one or two years after the original but never saw the light of day).

For me, Farcry was like a new Flashback. Can't put my finger on it.
Would love to see "Another World" done again. Perhaps in another 10 yrs time when graphics completely rock, they might start thinking outside the box again.

You wont believe it, but 5 Minutes after i posted here, i checked wikipedia and found them myself! Awesome, all those memories...played the original on my C-64 and even the "remake", Paradroid 2000 on my Amiga. Those where the times...
But i really wish they would remake Wasteland. That was some kickass game. Fallout is nothing against it.

Paradroid 90 on the amiga, flashback, stunt car racer
IK+ was absolutely classic, would like to see a remake of Way of The Exploding Fist as well.
For me, the ultimate remake, if done properly unlike its sequel from 2000 or so would be Speedball 2. Incredible game that.
The problem with remakes as someone else stated, is that with updating graphics and taking a 3d viewpoint, the gameplay changes altogether and its like a totally different game to the one you played before. The games played on sms or nes with two buttons and MD with 3 buttons can't really compare gameplay-wise to the immersive gamepads we have now and the depth of games with massive storylines and such levels of self involvment.
If a company nowadays made a game that you can go all the way through in 40 mins like the old arcade games (double dragon, Robocop, Golden Axe,etc.) nobody would buy them, as lastability is now one of the main factors when people buy a game. Black was a very good game on the current gen consoles, as was Metal Gear Solid and a few others i could mention, but at about 8-10 hours long most peoples complaints were that they were too short.
Could you imagine playing Golden Axe for 10 hours?? I reckon i'd be bored to tears. Unfortunately it would seem, the best place for these past greats, is indeed, in the past. Emu sites and mame are all they are good for now i fear

This was on top of my remake wish-list, and the remake is almost as good as the original
Other remakes I would love to see:
- Theme Hospital, but with Will Wright making it (and using The Sims 2 engine)
- Syndicate Wars, I heard the original Bullfrog team was working on a sequel... but this was years ago, no news ever since 
- Carmageddon, now these games were awsome MP games and had potential to become great SP games aswell, but all sequels to the original Carmageddon failed in SP
- Conquest of the new world, an unknown but great game
Those games are currently on top of my wish-list for remakes
Also an Atomic Bomberman remake would be good, but the graphics should no be 3D. It should keep the simplicity of AB, but make the AI better and give us some more options
