ATI x1600 PRO 256 mb ?
I met the sys. requirements , can I play on medium settings at least?

Well, I just beat Call of Juarez last night. I must say this game is excellent and frustrating at the same time. Never before have I been in the wild west like this. The game is so realistic in every aspect. The game really puts you through everything that the wild west had to offer. I was able to play with all settings set to high except shadows were set to medium with a 6800GS at 421/1201 with Forceware drivers 91.45. In my opinion the graphics were better than Oblivions. They were that good. Far distances and great looking water. The trees, bushes and ground were very realistic. The eagle feather episode was a testiment to the power of this graphics engine. The only bummer was that almost all the males looked like they were from the same family. Otherwise the character modeling was among the best. I am anxious to see what Techland comes out with next. I believe Chrome 2 is on the horizon. I will be trying that one out for sure.
A couple of problems I had with this game.....the duels were very strange in the control department. I had to really labor through them with the whole down then up and then lazy reticle? Strange! Also, the ending was very frustrating. It took me about 20 minutes to figure out the controls to end the game. I tried all button combinations and finally got lucky. Also, during some boss fights Ray's quick draw would disappear. I know this was by design but it didn't make sense. I have to say having to put your guns away to get quick draw was something I would have done differently. There was way to much stealth in Billy's missions. I enjoyed the stealth but there was just to much of it. When he got the bow it was awesome!!
Other than those few gripes this game really did a lot well. Ray's quick draw effect was excellent. I was able to take out 4 guys with 4 bullets/headshots in one quickdraw! It was just like the movies. I really enjoyed riding the horse. Those were some great episodes. A couple of times I would shoot another rider and he would get dragged by the horse when he fell off! That was a very nice touch. The horse control felt realistic. The hit detection was excellent. Every time I shot someone it was like they were reeling realistically from each bullet. Not to mention head shots!! Billy's headshots with the bow were fantastic. The story was top notch. It really kept me in the game and intrigued. I highly recommend this game to anyone.

It is where you just got the drink for health on a lower platform and past where it was a little more open. When I swing down, I get on a path which leads all the way down

I got stuck once on the mountain, there are two ways to go but you have to go back a bit and start climbing counter clock wise. I guess that's where you got stuck

Definitely GOTY! I loved every second of it. I can't believe it's over... I want more!!
It's sad that many people will overlook this game and wait for blockbuster titles with big names like Crysis while this game is probably better than Crysis will ever be.

I like the graphics and the whole idea - but it had anoying black boxes that appeared every time there was a hint, and I also absolutely hated the sneaking parts.

I liked Billy's missions a lot! I don't think they are inferior to Ray's. What's wrong with them?? What's up with all the whining and complaining about them? They are a really nice mix of sneaking, exploring, plattforming, puzzle solving, riding and shooting - like a first person action-adventure. They make a great contrast to Ray's very action-oriented missions.

I only liked two Billy's missions. The one where he must shoot rabbits/get feather and the last one with the bow. Cause both missions dont have those "dont hurt anyone, sneak behind those dumb and blind guys" objectives
