Well I already knew how to enable 900 degrees on the wheel itself.. but not ingame.. the car wheel in the game only rotates 200 degrees, which is a little irritating when my DFP rotates 900 Razz Oh well..

page up is sway camera and i believe (numpad) 7 and 8 are zoom in and out.

If that's what you mean, don't play arcades races Wink But you should try out the cockpit as default view, they look so F^%$^%%# awesome and the cockpit sound is so much better.

Wheel or NOTHING. This is not the garbage you see in the ToCA games.

I installed GTR2-RELOADED and I have a problem. After driving around a bit I wanted to go back to the box. So I pressed Esc and Enter to go back to the box. Then the game hanged! I can't do anything! My car is still there but I can only press Esc again... Then I press Alt+Tab and stop the game via taskmanager.
Anyone else got this problem?
Should I use the iTWiNS release? (I already have it Smile )

You can play with a joystick or some other analogue controller but the immersion factor would be affected completely. It will also be more difficult (assuming you are used to using a wheel on the PC in the first place - as there is a learning curve), if not impossible. Braking and accelerating will be impossible to do in analogue at the same time on most non-wheel pedal combos - and that is a bad thing yes Wink

I know as I don't like setting up my wheel to my desk but have two analogue controllers which I setup first to test games frame rates and things like that. You can do it, but the fun is in using the wheel - particularly with GTR and RBR line of games as the force feedback & general immersion is very good.

So you CAN do it, but it is HIGHLY recommended you buy a wheel if you are a serious fan of the game. DON'T buy a wheel if you are just a casual racer. There is no benefit. Games are few and far between to make it a worthwhile purchase. ONLY simulators benefit from the use of wheels. NFS games like that, they are shit with it (and easier without).

Hope that helps.

Ispep, did you play the demo? Is it an early work-in-progress demo or does it represent the expirience of the final game?

GTR 2 DVDRip-SPiTFiRE :

We downsampled movies by 50% so it could fit on 2CD's. You wont
be able to tell the difference.

1. Unpack
2. Burn or mount
3. Run "GTR2_Setup.exe" from CD1 to start install
4. Run "GTR2Config.exe" and then start the game with "GTR2.exe" or
use the shortcuts provided
5. Enjoy!

Whats wrong with this game? Seriously Firstly (because someone asked), the gfx pretty much sucks compared to any other driving game that came out the last 3 years, thats just a fact, the models, the tracks, the textures, everything. Except the lighting effects on night, thats pretty moody.

But whats up with the physics? i realise the simulator stamp, but hell, does a real race car really wobble like that? Forward and backwards on the suspension, CONSTANTLY, NONSTOP? No car ive ever driven irl ever "wobbles" like that, i mean, a road car alone would be hell to drive like that, so i cant imagine why a race car would behave like that, would be pure suicide..
Ive never even seen any car do that, not in toca broadcasts from the hood cam or cockpit cam, not from ANY racing event.

Whats up with that? Ruins the entire game in my opinion. Crap!
