The same way 13 year olds get a pack of cigs, the same way I got my liquor Except I never asked strangers  I had aged friends.
And, it was the cool thing to do at the time!  Get a few friends together, go to a local park during lunch, have a few drinks and go to english/geography/math I never got into the weed smoking circles  I never liked people who smoked pot.

When I couldnt get it myself, my dad or brother would buy me booze. My brother bought be booze from 10-14. at 14 i got my first fake id and stopped shaving (started shaving when I was 12).

Seriously tho, it is.
Then again, i dont have much place saying shit like that...im smoke ganja regularly. But its not something I NEED. Its something I enjoy...if i dont have any tho, im not overly upset or anything. |

It's not that I need to have drink. I can be happy. It's just that I can be happier when I have a drink or two

There are no 21 year old alcoholic? When I was 21 i was an alocholic and alot more.
There are tons of young people that are alcoholics...14 year olds and shit.
I had friends that were alcoholics at 15 and 16 and shit. |

Drink all you want... Like I said, im not coming down on you. Just dont be in denial about shit.
Me for example. Am I a stoner? Yes. Am I addicted to cigarettes? Yes
Do I know both are bad for me? Yes. Do I care? no.
As long as your not drinking to the point where its like say a 40 ouncer a day, your good.
Your young, live it up, the body can take shit when your young. |

I get yah. I don't think I'm denying it. I'm just saying it's kinda far fetched for me. I understand there are cases where people can be alcoholic at a young tender age, but I limit my self, y'know? I enjoy a drink every now and then, but I’m not relying on it. I don't think.

same with me really, i have a beer or two pretty much every day but only after the little one went to bed or my wife is home as well. i dont think i have a problem because there are times where i dont have a beer for weeks at a time. if i have beer in the fridge, i drink it. if not, so what, im not missing it or go to the next liquor store to get some. dont need it at all

Yeah...thats how addiction starts. Trust me. Ive had my share of addictions.
I never thought i was addicted to acid...a hit here, a hit there. Then it turned into "Oh Im bored, lets drop some acid"...and then progressed into thinking about it when i was doing other shit...then full out addiciton and 5 or 6 hits of good lsd a day. |

I know how addiction works. But what pisses me off, is that you can't say you're not addicted even when you're not. They say first step is denial. y'know? But you know you're not addicted. You know you can stop. But people don't believe you and it just drives you insane. Drove me around the block couple of times. People care too much about others, that’s what I see being the first problem. Y’know. Some people can’t help it, but others just do it because they like the person and that’s just horrible. You end up feeling like you really disappointed them and you feel like shit for a long while until you find the courage to tell her that you’re sorry that you put her through it and she doesn’t give a fuck about you because you broke her heart, ripped it out, chewed it up, spat it out, stepped on it and then tossed it in the garbage. People tend to care more than they can forgive! Fuck. I’ve gone too far here…
But I know what you're saying. I’ve been addicted to several things. Nothing like substance abuse or anything hardcore so maybe I don't know exactly what you're saying, but I can relate. I think.

I dunno man. Being addicted to any drug is some next shit you know?
Your body craves whatever your addicted to and when you dont get it, all sorts of shit happens. You freak out, shake, sweat, manic sometimes etc Its crazy
Its only thing to hear about it, its another to go through it.
Be gald you never have had to. Its not fun and along with sobering up comes depression and lots of stress and shit, which is something else you have to get over after to clean up.
Thats why I havent touched acid in years. I know if I did even one hit, I'd be hooked on it again. Its my drug of choice, so to speak and its dangerous for me to do it. I usually get very violent towards then end of my trip...acid contributed to alot of the bad shit ive done.
Never again. I wont touch any hard drug ever again. They take ahold of you and fuck you big time.
Meth and heroin is the worst addictions tho...Ive met some freaky ass junkies in my day. |

I don't get depressed often. People make me depressed. I can't be happy when others aren't happy. And the world isn’t a happy place. makes me feel soo much sadness. I hate it!

Realisticly, i thinks its impossible for most people to be truly happy. You can be content or even satisfied...but i think true happiness eludes most people. Its something i have yet to accomplish
