but has anyone played it?
I loved uplink and darwinia, and I guess this game is as addictive as them?

I played a wee bit, and it seems quite good, I never played uplink, but if you liked that then I think you`d like this, as it only uses a single screen interface just like Uplink

basicaly when it calls home, it tries to see if the reg code is legal. If it's not, when you try to go online, it gives you a moralizing story about them being a small corporation, and we robbed them of their hard work. So yeah, only SP for this version, until there will be a key gen...

yeah, just like keygens for world of warcraft, battlefield 2 and counterstrike, right?
If you wanna play online just buy it, it's the only copy protection that's worth a damn, a good multiplayer mode with key protection!

Worked fine for me. 3 Friends joined via Himachi + LAN option. Have to turn off your Windows Firewall though if you previously had it blocking defcon.exe.
