in pes 5 the players reaction time after a goal also was 1/2 seconds

Lol, you think they even care... Every consequtive FIFA is just a rehash of the same old engine from previous titles (it's the same engine used in FIFA 2003, even if it doesn't seem so). They just do a (inacurate) rosters update and that's it. That's for the current gen. stuff. Next gen. seems to take all of EA's "developers'" attention these days.

Next-gen or not there are some people that still like it & enjoy it as it is so if you don't like don't play it, it's simple.

They must use a good gfx engine like (Doom 3,Half-Life 2,ect) for the faces, but what lnatan25 said fifa will always look the same on pc

And you know why they don't update the PC version? Because it wouldn't run on as many PCs as it does now. This isn't my observation, this is a fact stated by an ex EA official. Laughing

That is nonsense. The reason is to make the more expensive less likely to be pirated console versions more attractive.

Google the subject up... They are not using NG engines for all of their games because not as many morons with GF4MX and GFFX5200 could play them. Again, this was said in an interview.

Installed FIFA 06 yesterday night...what a rubbish game. Its like all the players are on crack, they speed around like ferraris and porsches and almost every shot goes in...the sound Is horrible to..The gfx are worse than the PES-series, and the gameplay is horrible imho. :barf: FiFA 07 will stink horribly probably. Lol every shot goes in. Man i must be a bad player. When 2006 came out i playes a couple of 10 matches and i got only 1 goal. I find it very hard to get close to the goal Very Happy

Of course you can have your own opinion, but not only one impression and keep that repeated (I'm not talking about you here). As a reminder the last FIFA 07 thread was closed just because of that, only 2-3 ideeas and 100 posts...All I say is to stop here this versus and the next post we should see to be about final release.

Like I said; It's nonsense. EA say a lot of things. Doesn't make it true. Of course they want to give a valid reason for the lack of 'next gen' graphics in their games on the PC. But that is an excuse. It means they can milk the lucrative console market while it is still hot and when VISTA et al come out with all the hype they will jump onto that bandwagon and milk that for all it is worth.
