My wife caught me hitting on some girls in town and she began cussing them out. I proceeded to give the girls some gifts, which flipped my wife off to no end. I found her later at the bar, drinking herself to the point that she could barely stand, cursing at me in the bar, wondering why she ever married me. A perfect re-creation of my own life. See, your character becomes a true representation of yourself.
Very nice. I can't wait for this game.

Gamespot gave Fable 8.6

Gamespot has also reviewed it, it got a very good rating, but ratings most of the time don't mean much... If you pay attention well to the pro and con aspects they name, and especially if you listen well to the video review, you come to the conclusion that:
This seems this is a very good solid RPG, but (as I personally feared), nothing more. They say the interactive stuff, like choices between good and evil, and the way you can interact with other inhabitants of the world, is pretty superficial as most pessimist gamers already expected. F.e. the storyline doesn't change according to your decisions. You can make several gestures etc. to other people, get a short reaction, but that's it. It doesn't go any deeper.
Molyneux can talk about things more beatiful and magical than they are.
Sure looks fun though, but not purely something I'd get an Xbox for, though I was planning to do this if this game was more revolutionary like promised.

The first time i played Kotor i thought it was complete sh*t. Though on my summer holiday, 1 year after its release i started playing it and couldnt stop. Kotor is one of the best RPG's ive played. Hopefully Fable will live up to the expectation.

What a stupid publishing decision.

Yeah it is a stupid publishing decision. Also isn't the development team from UK? If they are then it totally doesn't make sense. Hell UK should get it earlier. Like with The Getaway and it's sequel for PS2. The game came out in December in UK and Januarary for US.

Why can't they release games in the US and the UK at the same time?! They bitch about piracy but if a game is out in the US and not available in the UK then it just gives people a legitimate reason to pirate the game other than just wanting it for free.
