New Expansion for Call Of Duty, Gray Matter is on the job.
From filefront.com:
Gray Matter Studios is working on a new expansion pack for Call of Duty, according to PC Gamer. The expansion pack, United Offensive, will feature 3 seperate SP campaigns for each the British, Americans, and Russians, and is scheduled to be ready in the fall. There's no word yet on price, however.
Update:
Santa Monica, CA - Sept. 1, 2004 - Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that Call of Duty(tm): United Offensive(tm) - the expansion pack to Infinity Ward's highly acclaimed Call of Duty(tm), which has received over 80 Game of the Year and 50 Editors' Choice Awards worldwide - has gone gold and will ship to retail outlets nationwide on Sept. 14. The cinematic intensity of the Call of Duty brand reaches unprecedented heights in Call of Duty: United Offensive by delivering more action than ever before. This robust expansion pack features a total of 13 all-new single player missions filled with new weapons, player abilities and special effects, as well as an expanded multiplayer experience introducing 11 new maps and three new modes of play. Developed by Gray Matter Interactive Studios, Call of Duty: United Offensive is rated "T" (Teen - Blood, Mild Language, Violence) by the ESRB and will carry a suggested retail price of $29.99.
Excellent.

I take it you'll need the original CoD to play it as an expansion pack? Like all other expansions for MoH, BF I suppose...typically I don't have a copy on me, but I remember how great it was and now how much I want to play this!

Plus it's an expansion and Call of Duty used SafeDisc so it's probably the same thing for the expansion.

I am a beta tester for Call of Duty...all of you CoD fans are going to love this expansion. It has some major changes yet keeps the same feel of the original.
IMHO, this is the first expansion/sequel to any FPS that is as good or even better than the original.
The new online maps are awesome and many are HUGE.
I cannot give any details about the game but if there is anyone who loves this game and gets the expansion and doesn't like it, something be wrong.

tbh i think cod maps were poorly designed and too big. good ones being carentan (sp???) and dawnville. they were mainly mg maps, good with a group of 20 or just 4, and allowed you to snipe as well as mg. can you list whats new; vehicles, mission lenghts, CDS?, etc.

This game standalone or do you need CoD installed?

lol dont be stupid. epcgaming had a list of over one hundred. and if you loaded that list with loads of others with ASE u had a choice of over 500. thats enough when most of them have decent pings and all gametypes/maps are there for you to choose. o and opposing force was a great expansion and worthy to be called better than the original. also brood war is another. tbh theres loads
