I managed to get some of the games work but games like pes5 , syphon filter:dark mirror, mgs acid 2 and digital novel just stops loading after the logo screens, althought i am able to use the home button to cancel the game. Does these games work on your setup, maybe i'm doing something wrong or the games are not compatible. Any ideas? Also when i put multiple isos into the "ISO" folder PSP freezes when i start the firmware emulation.

DOes anyone know a way to boot Pro Evolution SOccer 5, been working on it for 3 days now, can't get it to work arrgghhhh

It sounds like you have the "WORKING" version of Pro Evo 5. You really want the earlier psy release, not labelled as working.
I think your main problem is that the games you've been trying have probably had there boot.bin decrypted so they would work with older loaders. Devhook needs encrypted boot.bins to work.

you could try the games with an older loader like DAXISO loader or something. that one pretty much loads all the older games.

Thanks, will try that too but i mainly have the same problem with most of the 2.71 games. The game load fine in the system menu and when I select the UMD icon it loads the game but then stops loading and the screen stays black, with the option of using the home button to cancel game. Can't seem to figure out why Sad

Are you booting devhook in 222mhz mode? because It won't boot in 333mhz.
After booting you can go home to the XMB and hold home+select to change cpu speed to 333mhz.
Also your problem with multiple isos, I've heard if you have files which are not .ISO or .CSO in there, it doesn't like it.

The problems I was having were because of the fake pro duo i bought from ebay. Lesson learned: never buy memory cards from ebay again.

You just need to be lucky. I have a fake one from ebay too. But there bad quality fakes and good quality fakes. The good ones use the same flash chips from samsung that are on sony genuine cards.

I grabbed sandisk from ebay with no issues at all, you just have to not buy from hong kong Wink!
