Just bought a Xbox with 250GB Hard Drive and the modchip has like a circuit board outside the casing under the DVD Tray side with 4 switches on.

One Switch to turn Chip On / Off
One switches from bank 1 and bank 2
One turns Flash protection On / Off
One turns LED On / Off


anyone know what chip this is?

Could be anything from a homemade cheapmod to a DuoX2 modified with extra wires to the switch.

Only way to find out what it is, is to open it up and look. You could take a pic of it and upload somewhere too and let me see it.

woops, made a mistake, one of the switches switches from Bank 1 to Bank 2

Looks too professional to be a homemade one.

ok, thik I have found it Very Happy this is what the switch board is like -



and thats from a Xecuter 2.6

Is that a good chip??
