Nice game..the more I play it, the more I like it.
Better than all those Driv3r, Godfather etc games that are utter crap. this one is actually playable.
Not as good as Vice City though.

yeah, it seems maybe there are problems with the water reflections. Every time i run near the shore, it gets lagged. Then as i move away and the shore dissapears from view it gets better. My 6600 never did this to any game. It seems no matter what settings i make to the graphics, it moves the same. i don't care about the graphics myself, i think they're ok and serve their purpose to the game, but i say GTA SA was waaay more optimised than this. In here i'm afraid to drive a fast care, cause one minute you have 50fps, the next 10fps and you end up in a pole.
Also the physics are kinda screwed sometimes. I once touched a car with my starting vehicle and it started bouncing and ended up in a vertical position. From a slight touch! Dunno, maybe the physics are to ramped up.
i like the complexity of the game, with turfs, the management, it feels like a semi strategy game, plus from what i played the missions are quite varied and complex. That early mission when i had to steal the van was awesome, made me feel like in Max Payne, killing right and left.
So my only gripes so far are the incosistent performance and the weird physics wich sometimes are getting ridiculous

With Ati 850x here, and everything runs fine (High, and yeah, the AA and AF do not affect the fps). Sometimes i get this annoying jitter, but it goes away pretty fast to influence the gameplay.
Ofcourse its no where near as good as the GTA series, but its good for a movie game. But seriously, who expected an exelent consol port? I sure didnt. Even when entereing cheats, you cant use the keyboard to type it, you gotta do it like in the console version.

How to change controls? They are still inactive. I only want to change from Wsad to cursors. I can change pad`s button but not keybord. What for is keybord configuration while it can't be changed?

Yeah i recommend you save your game before go to buy drugs, because if you fuck up your deal, he'll sell your for much more than its worth or maybe you'll have to kill him.

I have to sell drugs @ felix if i'm not wrong

No dude, first you go to Tab>Empire>Business and click on felix conntact (or felix something). Then it gives you like a mission to go save that contact (by killing few goons that trying to attack). After you have killed all the goons, it tells you where to find that drug dealer. You go to the drug delear and he sells you drugs for a good price, and then you gotta sell your stash.
Hmm maybe i missunderstood. How far are you into the game. Did you just finish the tutorial, or did you already buy the first front (some pawn shop) ?

GREAT GAME , fantastic climate and nice music ... anyway people what did you expect from a Ps2 game that was ported to every console hmmm and to PC ... o and i have no lag on my comp the trouble makers are the asr and the RLD crack , they make the lag and the collision bugs ... just mounth the clone into DT 4.06 run the game from the autorun NOT THE SHORTCUT and it works fine no lag , no bugs , no nothing ... RLD must figure a new way of securom 7 cracks becoz they old metod only makes the game lag to much for people that have low ram ...
and from the looks of it this game uses a engine similar to Godfather ,
Love : the hole game , climat and other things about it
Hate :
*the 9 mission tutorial ... its simply to long , yes you read right the first 9 missions teach you how to play after them this game is no-lineral and more fun
*you cannot setup you keyboard keys ... but you get use to the default set up in no time
for me 8,5/10

Well tell us exactly how you did it. Because when ever i select the WASD and trying to press other buttons, it does nothing. And about logotech, people are having the same problems as i do. After exiting the config, keys keep remapping themselves, and i cant save it. And whats weird, sometimes it maps several functions into one button. (like for me, reverse and forward is the same button and i cant change it.) Not only i have it, so tell us how you did it. And screens or never happend.

let me guess you play with the RLD crack  it fuck ups the key config , i play with the clone in dt 4.06 , and my pad it plugged off from the USB , this game needs to be played with keyboard |

Nope dude, im playing exactly like you do. (well i wouldve used the reloaded crack, i just couldnt find it : ) ). Not using ASR or anyother tools, just mounted to DT. ANd still the keys change to whatever the fuck they want. Im forced into using Keyboard, and its fine for shooting, but i prefer joystick when im driving. Just a preference

Dimon so you have problems with your pad ? if i understand it right so use JoytoKey

and the crack is on GameBurnWorld or GameCopyWorld but don`t recommend it becoz it lags the game
