Just noticed fileplanet has a subscriber only Tribes Vengeance beta. Sucks its subscriber only but im sure some people want to try this.
Downloading it now myself.

Gota hate that FilePlanet. But you really can't blame the devs, im sure FilePlanet pays the publishers alot for the exclusive.
Personally im just gona wait a week for the file to become public...

They also got WoW Stress test and Red Orchestra 3.0 on FP exclusive...looks like getting into a beta is determined by your FP subscriptions nowadays :/

Yeah pretty much...i have counted atleast 6-7 times i have canceled my monthly account with them only to resubscribe when they get some subscriber only crap. Must admit though it is nice being able to get patches and movies etc at pretty good speeds when i need them without waiting or searching around. <-- lazy
just a fyi: ive attempted to download the tribes 2 beta two times now and its been corrupted both times from different servers....i have also attempted to download the WOW stress test 3 times (2gb) and the zip has been corrupted all 3. I think i might be having problems on my end but not sure exactly whats going on.

Are you using their download manager?
I just saw this, open it with internet explorer, drag the icon into IE window and then copy the folder to desktop. If that doesnt work its officially corrupt.

yeah screw waiting I have waited for this beta for a long time. I paid my $7 for this and the WoW beta. Whatever, worth it to me. Thats like 1 game rental and i get the beta for a week so meh

I paid $7 for Tribes:V, also got WoW, Dawn Of War, was able to dl a couple mods and patches at 300k/s. It's not that bad.

The more people who keep signing up for betas, the more Fileplanet will pay for the exclusives and thus we will see them exclusive like this more and more often.
Nice to see there's people stupid enough to pay to work for companies. How about you guys give me 20 bucks a month to clean my apartment?

for a few measly dollars a month its not a bad deal considering all they give u
i just dont get why ppl have such a problem with this
well the only reason i can think of is cause ppl cant afford to buy it
that is a shitty reason to bash it though so i dunno. i been a subscriber for this service for over a year now and the dam thing has certainly already paid for itself. I get all there fancy programs, entrance in there beta test specials and fast downloads. ohh, i even get free games every now and again plus the ign account to boot.
Its not a bad deal at all. i look forward to many more to come
its still free you just have to wait...its not like there bandwith is free for them. besides files are mirrored everywhere and there are places that have the no wait thing so u can grab it anywhere.

You gotta unzip the WoW beta with WinZip.
