it felt so weird to die....and the rebirth was even weirder, it was like going thru a multicolored tunnel.
maybe this means im about to make a big change in life.
death to old life
birth to new. and no nobody is pregnant. |
I have dreams where I die all the time. In these dreams I know I am about to die and that there is nothing I can do about it. So I just lie down in some field somewhere and wait... for the end. |
that sounds kinda freaky.
If your aware of the dream you should be able to affect the outcome.
A dream where i lay down and die because i know im going to die sounds fuckin terrfying

dreams about death are peaceful
in my case they are. Dying is the part that can wake me up, but once the dying is done It's quite a nice dream

I hate dreams about death.
Alot of times I dream that i'm inside an elevator when suddenly the cables that connect the elevator are being ripped and the elevator just dives down when i'm inside it for a long long time. What's worse is that when I dream it I can actually feal the pressure of the fall and it's somewhat painful... :/
I hate these dreams. They make hate elevators.

dude that is an awesome dream. My elevator has an auto-fan that goes off if the elevator isn't used. So if you go in. and just stand there for 30 seconds the fan goes off and it feels like you're falling. It's so quiet.

Sometimes I can affect the outcome. Sometimes I can fly, common enough dream, but then I realise that I am dreaming, then I fall and hit the ground really hard.
I guess it is. My ex thought I was having seizures in my sleep. I also sleep walk a bit. I get up and my eyes are kinda open and I will try to let the dog out of the bedroom window. I think it is a sliding door. Or I wake up and turn on the lights and start ripping the bed apart because I lost something I was dreaming about. |
That would freak me out Gettin pushed off the bed because my girl thinks she lost something in the bed but it was a dream....after i stopped laughing, it'd freak me out
Sounds like it'd be fun to spend a nite with you
If im sleeping with someone, I dont move from the position i fall asleep in...unless they move.
My exwife was a crazy sleeper too. Not sleep walking but being violent while sleeping.
I'd wake up to an elbow in the chest or a slap somewhere on my body. She must have been fighting alot in her sleep or something. I'd get up and be sore as hell sometimes...still, i never slept on the couch takes alot to get me out of bed...doesnt take much to get me into it

Well I am not violent in my sleep, except when I was really young according to my mom and only on one occasion. When my dad left on the weekends she would make up sleep in the same room. Aparently, I punched her once on her hand when I was sleeping. But I am not like that now. And I didn't push anyone off the bed. I would just get up and start ripping the pillows and blankets off, and turn on lights. I would sort of remember it in the morning but not always. It was more like a dream that happened. |
Well, if i didnt have to work the next day, it'd be one helluva sight.
Still, I sleep naked...having the coverings ripped off would be shocking and...shrinking

About 7 moths back i was involved in an incident at work, and the result was a permanent hearing loss of 50 pst. Now you probably say to U're self that, this aint the end of the world.. And it isnt.
But another side effect of the thing that happened, was tinitus. This basically means that u have a high pitched buzzing noise in u're head, ALL the time. Mine is belived by the experts at the hospital, to be almost 65 dB. Now this is a sound that never goes away, and its always there. When i'm watching a film, its there. When i'm with friends, its there, When im listening to music, its there. No matter what i do, its there. Sad part of it is that due to little research on this area, there is no cure for this, and there are no operations to fix this.
I've had this problem now for 7 months straight, and i feel like i'm loosing my mind.
Last year was the greatest year of my life... I had a good job, and made a good living. I bought an appartment. I had about 3 job offers standing. And i met the woman i belived to be the last.
This year came, about two months into the year. i have an accident at work. With this accident, i sustain an injury to my inner ear, wich they say, is permanet. Some time goes by, and the effects of it arrives. Insomnia is only one of them.
Aggression is another. Depression, mood swings, constant ringing in my head. My woman left me, and i don't blame her.
I'm on sick leave from work, and will probably be told that i will not get my job back. My doctor tells me that i might end up on disabilety. I might have to sell my appartment, if ends don't meet. The effect of sleeping pills is absent with this injury, cos as soon as the effect wears of one wakes up again. TRUST me, i know what insomnia is.
Anti depressant also have side effects, so thats no good..And as time goes by i lock my self more and more in my flat, and sit infront of this screen.....day and night. Until there is nothing left to distinguish one day from another..
I'M 28 FOR FUCK SAKE

Mind if I ask exactly what the 'incident' was?
asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"

sure dont. i work offshore on an oil rig, and a pump used for mixing mud failed and it more or less exploded. the bang was so loud that even with the ear protection i used it was not enough...

@csde
I think if I was you I would perfer to be deaf. I have heard of that before, and people who have it often perfer 'white noise' things like static and the like I have heard. I would imagion that would be very hard to live with.

Hurray for thread necromancy! Since I'm too lazy and too fucking tired to make a new one!
I has insomnia right now! Haven't slept a good night long for a week now.
Right now it's 2am and I would have to get up at 7. So this day is gonna consist of about 6 hours of university of which I'll hardly remember anything because I'm to fucking tired to listen or write down the shit my professors write or say.
Fuck this sleeplessness shit. Fuck it hard.
