Ok i am going to put my neck on the line here...
As i never did it I would like to ask how do i flash my BIOS ?... yea yea, as I said I never done it before so I just want to be sure.
I got a ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe mobo and i need to update my BIOS etc etc.
Someone with no prejudice could maybe tell me step by step....please...pretty please with sugar on top .

asus has a nice feature called EZ-flash
just download the new bios and put the .rom file on a floppy. restart your computer and during POST press ALT+F2 and sit back

As I don't have a Floppy (who has these days) I will have to wait till the morning...

There's also a program called Winflash, I believe that will do it. You don't need a floppy then.

Cheers guys, worked like a charm!
But now I have another weird prob.
I had to update the Chip set drivers before I did the BIOS (had to according to ASUS) and now I can not forward a certain Port (using it for a torrent ap) Its just bizarre as it all worked before the Chip set and Bios update. I have that port open in both my FW and in my Router 100% I don't use the XP FW though I even added this port as an exception ( i don't trust XP ) Any ideas?...do I have to set something in the Network Connection settings etc etc?. I guess updating the Chip set driver has done something.
EDIT! Fixed it. Had to delete the old open port line in my router and just add it again, buggy but it did the job.
All is well that ends well
