I don’t smoke anymore but I still buy lighters and I occasionally burn my self. I love the smell of singed hair. Any of you play around with the lighter? Or you guys just use it for what it’s made it be used for? |
I fiddle with it...but i cant say Ive ever burned myself on purpose. I have used a lighter to clean a cut...you know, you hold a flame to a cut to clean it and make it stop bleeding. |
Why would you ever do that? Wash it in soap and water apply pressure to stop bleeding. If it isn't clotting throw some flour on it. |
Cuz it works faster. Im not talking for major wounds. I mean like paper cuts and stuff like that. Minor cuts. Soap and water doesnt take away the stinging all the time. You burn the cut for 5 or 10 seconds, not 2 seconds on 2 seconds off...it stings for about a minute and then its completely fine. For me anyway
My dad did it to me when we went camping when i was young. I cut my foot on a rock and we didnt have bandages. So he grab the bbq lighter, to me to act like a man and take the pain and burned the cut, then put my foot in water for a minute, wrapped 2 socks around it and i was fine  |

my girl checked me out from the window while i was drying after a shower, i didnt notice her looking and was dancing and singing away to myself, she knocks on the window and i must have gone so red.. then she comes in and i dont get shit 'cause she says shes on.. man i just realised how much yesterday sucked :/
