I think they are old. I havent updated my Nvidia drivers for a while.
This game makes my hard drive noisy at times lol

I have gothic 3 installed on a 10000rpm harddrive aswell, so caching should be minimal

yes it's in the custom detail menu, if you don't set that as high as possible you will crash, as theres just too much data, bit ridiculous to set it that low, too much dependant on your gfx card driver that way and we all know what kind of crap they can be 
On a related note I havent slept for 35 hours now, gothic is just too good for me to let go...
back to gothic I go. |

How can u play a game for 35 hours Epsilon? Even if i REALLY LOVE a game i usually get so grumpy after max 20 hours without sleep that it doesnt matter how fun the game it, i dont consider anything fun anymore! So i go to sleep, even if im not tired, just because nothing is fun anymore Then i wake up, and its fun again Perfect circle ^^
Anyway, how big is the world? Any word on that? I know 4x the size of Gothic 2 or what it was, but in relations to Oblivion?
Also, i think i will like this alot I dont care much for bugs and such, as long as the game is superb.
I was actually one of the very very very few people who not only liked, but absolutely loved Ultima IX: Ascension! It was buggy and laggy like hell, but it was THE first 3d rpg, and it had such amazing enviroments. Remember the huge ice pillars where the ice dragon was at the very top?? And if you fell down you were fucked
Not many fantasy-enviroments like that anymore in games 
Nowadays mostly its just like real-world enviroments, even if the game is set in a world of faries and goblins!!
I vote for more varied and fantastic fantasy worlds!

Yes i've begun to wonder about that myself, head is starting to hurt nearing 43 hours I think...maybe..stuff is a bit blurry atm |
