there is nothing you can select ....only the language

ok,got it working!
i have turned off the virtual memory managment on windows drive so i have over 2gb free...and it installs now.......grrrrrrrrr
the funny thing is,during installation there are only 120mb used on windows drive

Exactly what I'm talking about. I remember that I got this error with another game since the SP2 install but I don't remember which. It could at least put up the so called "selections" or some kind of options.
As MS say this may be a SP2 messup as Installshield is on the problems list.
edit: Unfortunately I already have my cache file on another disc and system restore is turned of so I don't know what to do next.

anyone else think its great how the vietcong have teleport technology in this game? on all levels where the vietcong are constantly coming after you, kill them stand at there corpse and watch the same guys respawn.

This game was a real disappointment... there's no realism to get here folks, it's an arcadeish shooter... sort of like a limited NAM-version of Grand Theft Auto 3 (without cars).
Total waste of bandwidth.

I was expecting a good game. I got some console crap that looks like it was created with some cheap game creator.
No matter how much bandwidth you've got, you're wasting it with this.

Yeah, even if you have unlimited download capacity (like alot of us) it's a waste of time and the bandwith is wasted because it could be used to download something else.

I download when I sleep/not home. No time wasted there really. Plus it's not like I can't download two things at the same time. Or if I'm downloading when I'm home it doesn't affect how fast I download. I still get the same speed. I don't download something when I'm playing a game online. That's about it. I just find that "waste of bandwidth" bullshit stupid. I would only say it if the game is REALLY bad.
The game is ok. It's basically Conflict: Desert Storm in Vietnam. I like Shellshock NAM better.

This game is far from a black hawk down, this game is just utter shit. And for all those who said its a waste of bandwith, well there all right, skip this fucking lame ass release.

Well, he was not joking...we had no clue how much free space you have on your HD and if you do a complete AS IN EVERYTHING, install, you will need 1.84 gig of space.
Now if you are real close to having just 2 gig left on your HD, it's time to start deleting stuff you don't use.
