the three things i hated but they never fixed once was OPPONENTS players barely get tire - i play a 100% team for 90m at end time of the match my guys fitness is 60-70% apart from keeper. I look at opponent and there team is 85-100%.

That all depends on a number of factors such as your tactics (whether you are asking your players to do too much defending or attacking for example), your players individual fitness levels and as far as I recall the training facilities of your club. Can't say I've had the same problem as you (again) but to give you some hope the new FM2007 has much better 'personalities' for coaches and teams meaning much greater tangible variance in play styles.

Quote:
second is how strikers ALWAYS shoot over the bar! I mean they have a bad shot and its over the bar, perfectly over. They should play NFL because its hardly ever high and wide the high shots ALWAYS fly over the bar which is annoying as fuck especially when you think you score.

Again, you must play your game a different way to me as I don't have this problem at all... furthermore I don't look a the 2D match as anything other than an abstraction of the game unfolding. Little details such as that are inconsequential to me.

Quote:
THIRD is tackle %. I see games where tackle % is 100% for both teams into 2nd halves. this is no correct ever! how many games have 100% completed tackle in 10 mins let alone 45 to 90.

Never seen it myself, again, but it's perfectly possible in reality.

ispep you must try and analyse every thing giving plausable reactions? unless you were a developer i see so reason to make excuses. multiple versions, tactics, teams, matches, leagues, contrys all yield same inacuracies. please dont be fanboy blind to faults, leave that for nintendo kiddys.

Surely the tactics in the game are deep enough as they are, not only with team instructions, but individual player instructions as well, a host of formations and you can even create your own formation. If it aint broke don't fix it.

As far as injuries are concerned some players in the game are more injury prone than others it's built in to their stats, a team may be unlucky to have 10 injury prone players playing for them or the training schedule may be wrong. It happens in real football.

I agree about not being able to talk to players indivdually without going through the media, ridiculous really, that would never happen, and the team talks are a bit limited, with the players confused or not listening.

Trying to get players on loan has been a nightmare for me, I have found it extremely difficult. Either the players goto other clubs or clubs within the same divison won't loan players to my club as they don't like loaning players within the same division, eventhough they loan players amongst themselves. Signing decent players seems to be tougher than ever though.

Overall the game is superb and better than ever with it's new features, the scouting is vastly improved, and navigation much quicker/easier.

Still no release of the game Crying or Very sad Looks like we are going to have to go the distance. Crying or Very sad

I'm not a fanboy at all, I've been banned from the official forums in the past and rarely do I praise Sports Interactive directly. What I take objection to is a disproportionate image built up by people who clearly aren't putting much thought into their posts. It's like PES/WE. if you discuss it you can quite easily make it into the worst game possible and that's not a good advertisement for the best and only decent football game on the market. Likewise for Football Manager in the football manager market. If I have shortcomings with the game I take them directly to the developers themselves.

STILL; my posts were not excuses. They were very possible reasons and/or explanations as to why you were experiencing the things you (supposedly) were.

FM has its flaws, but it's more addicting than cocaine. Compared to Championship or FIFA Manager, Football Manager is almost more realistic than reality.

Having already got the Winning Eleven variant it doesn't really 'excite' me, but I'm still looking forward to it as I actually enjoy the immediacy of the PC version more than the PS2. Dunno why.

PES hasn't really 'evolved' much in the last few years, although I'll probabaly buy it for the online play if it doesn't have a LAN option again this year. From what I've read there haven't been any major changes to this years edition, and again it's very disappointing thate there's no online master league, I really don't know why it can't be implemented. It's still by far the best football sim game on the market, but there is so much more that Konami could do to develop the game further.

They are limited by the Playstation 2 as they've explicitly said in interviews in the past. The PS3, if we ever see it, will hopefully end that.
