Maybe he means it's wouldn't be worthwile if it was infected with Starforce. Which it apparently isn't. The demo is, but not the full game..

5.4 is about right. For those who are interested, the Russian version, and possibly the German can be translated by simply copying the text zip from the English version. Unfortunately the campaign's a pile of shit. Bad AI, unstable, hideous amounts of micromanagement, poorly optimised and an interface that's near worthless. A great idea, but a crap game.

Can't install here.
When I mount it, nothing happens.
It wont show up in My Computer.
If I try to unmount it, daemon-tools / alcohol 120% freeze, and then the whole computer stops responding.
Trying to download from another place now to see if it's a problem with the one i downloaded.
using win vista btw.

Is it the type of game where you need the 108 key of the keyboard and combo key to control your plane ? This game look cool, but unsure gameplay wise.

Very simple controls, fear not.
• up cursor arrow/joystick away from you: drop aircraft nose
• down cursor arrow/pull joystick: lift aircraft nose
• left cursor arrow/joystick to the left: left bank
• right cursor arrow/joystick to the right: right bank
• Z/left pedal: flat left turn
• X/right pedal: flat right turn
• PgUp: engine power increase
• PgDn: engine power decrease
If you use a joystick (recommended to use a 3 freedom levels joystick)
plane control is standard (for horizontal flight):
• push: down
• pull: up
• to the left: left bank
• to the right: right bank
• left rudder (if equipped): left turn
• right rudder: right turn
• throttle (if equipped): on joystick controls engine speed
To fire the machine guns press the space bar or the appropriate
button (usually button 1) on the joystick. To drop bombs or torpedoes
press control + space.
BF3 = Stompya

Well i finally got it to work (you were supposed to execute the .bat file in the main dir, not the exe in the bin dir  ) but it's bugged as hell. I only played the main campaign for about 10 minutes until it CTD's, and then i decided to stop playing the main campaign for fear that any future patches might not be compatible with old save files, and i'd hate to start from scratch after the patch is released. So i played around with custom battles instead, and i noticed that almost the advanced weapons that you can develop (rockets, wire guided, infra red and unguided missiles and cruise missiles) don't even work! When you order a bomber with any of those weapons to attack a target it just circles around it forever without launching its weapons. The normal unguided bombs seem to be the only ones that work. Which basically means you're fucked as Japan if you play the historical campaign, since having more advanced weapons is their only chance of winning due to their much smaller economy. So i'm putting this baby on the shelf until the patch is released, which according to the developers should be sometime this month. Regardless, MTW2 will be released in a week anyway, so i'll just keep my strategy games addiction sated with that instead, until the patch arrives

can some-one help me with this game?
I cant get ships to join in a formation in the main base
on the left I have the ships with a + in front
I want them all together but I only seem to create empty formations or something
