Don't get your hopes high - the idea was good, but the game itself turned out to be mediocre at best. Although much better than Instinct and a few others.

Too bad. I had high hopes for it when first announced. Seemed like a promising gritty horror fps with less run'n'gun gameplay, more just trying to survive like with Call of Cthulhu:DCotE or even Undying. But with better graphics. Man, there needs to be more of those types of games...

Thanks for the link. For a second I was actually going to wet myself over the idea of another Barker game. But then I saw...codemasters. And the fact their site lists it as "Format: PLAYSTATION®3". And how you are a 'elite squad of soldiers sent in..blah blah'.
I don't know. These modern action horror games like Doom3, HL2 and FEAR...they are good for a few moments. But then it just gets repetitive, go here, kill enemies, rinse repeat. And not scary at all. They all lack atmosphere or something.
But who knows, this Empty game might be Halfway decent. And then if Stalker and Bioshock are as good as they look in the trailers, might be a pretty good year for that kind of genre.
