well 1 million really isn’t a lot of money - at all.
#1
I think I might invest it and make more money with it and try to live off the interest. But then again I won’t be having a family so it doesn’t really matter what I save. I am outside the rat race.
#2
I would buy my own boat I think. I know what I want. Trawller style aft cabin with twin diesel engines and bow thrusters. 60 ft is a good size. Then I would be one of these people that actually took it places.
#3
I might split it and give 1/2 to my sister so she and her boyfriend could buy a house because she wants to start a family. I would only do this under the condition that a lawyer draws up a contract saying she owns 100%. Even in marriage she will own %100.
I would do #2 and #3 because I could afford to do both and I would like to see my sister with kids. I would like to be an Aunt.
#1 would be smart tho. Maybe I could do #1 as well in the beginning and flip the money.
