Indeed, it seems like 4Players judged the game for what it is, and not for what its predecessor was.

Would you guys please go start a Gothic 3 Haters thread in the Useless Void or something where you belong? Or at least go circle jerk each other off in the Oblivion thread.

hehe, cant face the truth eh mate. And as i said before i really like the atmosphere and the quest but you cant fanboishly turn a blind eye to the freaking shortcommings, that is all. And, ah, i havent seen much help or something useful from you either. It seems like you the one always comparing to the oblivion, which are completely different games, both with good and bads.

Last time i checked this thread is about gothic 3, i didnt see anywhere where it says that we cant talk how crappy the game is. This is a disscusiong, and as you can see a lot of people agree that the game is rushed. And cant we all just get along

But why would you want to talk about something you dislike? No-one really comes in here thinking "Great, lets see how many people have whined about Gothic 3 today, I love seeing bitches complaining about things!!".
Haven't you got anything better to do then whine all the fucking time. Everything you've said has been said many times before. We get it, you don't like Gothic, so kindly piss off.
We come here because we enjoy the game and enjoy discussing different approaches and experiences with the game.

Bitching is complaining about something for the sake of it, because you know it's not going to make any difference how much you whine about it in this thread, the game is not going to change because of that.
My complaining on the other hand is an attempt to get the people who keep on whining about the game to stop doing it in this thread. It might actually achieve that to a small degree.

Well at least with our so called bitching, we are still talking about the game, its shortcommings, bugs and etc. Your posts are just useless, not needed stuff. This is gothic 3 thread, as long as we are talking about gothic 3 (doesnt matter if its good or bad) we are staying on topic. And the game might change. What do you think we are the only ones who find bugs in gothic 3 annoying, no fuckin way. go read the officials boards. People are bitching about the same freaking things as we do here. I hope devs will take all that stuff into consideration and release a patch. And whats it to you whats on this thread, is that your life? No, (at least i hope so), then why the fuck are you ordering people what to do.
And i say it again. Gothic 3 has a lot of potential but for now (FOR ME PERSONALY) the bugs are destroying the gameplay.

Whats the ingame command to check fps or are you using some other programs like fraps to see it? I think i have about 20 fps, but just wanna see it.

Now that is RIDICULOUS, you have a top of the line PC the graphics on this game are good but not amazing. And you get 30-20 fps, that sucks, I have a nice setup, not great but nice, P4 2.8 and a X800 XL and im sure it would run like crap. I could understand that if the graphics were amazing but there not, my Xbox360 is better than your system and it runs games 30+ fps that look better (oblivion)

I've got a "top of the line" pc too (Core2Duo@2.7ghz, 2gb ram, GeForce 7950GX2) and even with graphics at the highest I found them not that good, but I doubled like 10 parameters to see things farther and removed low poly rendering now it simply look awesome, better than oblivion and I get around 30-40fps. Only water remain ugly at long distance
After playing a while I wonder why everyone whine you are too weak to attack beast. IMO I think we start wayyy too strong! What the hell we can kill easily minecrawlers, scavanger and even 5 weak orcs at level 1? I though at level1 you would have difficulties against pigs lol.
The quest at the start about killing 3 aggressive wild boars people don't like I don't know but the way they are located you are higher than them and a few fire arrow they are all dead without even noticing you, had no problem at all. If you can't manage it, go a bit on the north in the path there is a rebel with an easy quest of killing goblins, THEY are easy.
About the bugs, I've seen a few including dramatic lightning change, npc halfway in ground, wolves kill someone I could have talked to before I see him but I think I can live with it. The big problem is that I've just encountered that save game corruption shit and lost a few hours of gameplay.... that suck
oh and, Krest please stop whining

The game is rough but that's nothing a patch can't solve, the more I play it the more I like it.
Had a quest where I needed to liberate a mine for the hammers, must have killed roughly 100 orcs in there. (Got more than a hundred orc weapons, mostly worn though - useless)
Have to love the "Ogre Morningstar" though that the ogre's use, 500 strength and 300 damage, orc's go flying and the weapon is BIG.
(92 gold but you can't buy it)

Desperate? If i like a games gameplay and world, i will play that game. Whats desperate about that? I got an xbox 360 too, im not desperate for 1 game.
Besides whats so bad about 30fps average? Im just not as fucking picky as everyone else is.
Everyone expects being able to run everything on max at the newest games at 1600x1200 8x AA 16x AF at 100 fps. Then they say it sucks because they get 10fps less.. Its pathetic. A game is good for what it is, not for what fps you get out of it.
This thread is fucked up, im leaving it. All thats being discussed is how much it sucks and every newbie tries to "proove" that it sucks to people that already enjoy the game. Geez get a life.

I really like this game, but would want to know if there are some tweaks that would improve it.

Yeah sorry about that, ill stop now. The game is perfect, not a single bug. Running on everything high, getting around 60 fps, sometimes it goes down to 55 which is pretty laggy. Boars are supposed to be that way, even in real life, there are about 1000 fatalities a year where people die from boars attacking too fast.
