I looked up that game reactor review.
It's strange, I found two different reviews for the same game.
Same magazine but they are written by different people.

Here's the one posted above:
http://www.gamereactor.se/recensioner/8532/Dark+Messiah+of+Might+and+Magic/

But this review gives it a 9/10 total score:
http://www.gamereactor.dk/anmeldelser/63765/Dark+Messiah+of+Might+%26+Magic/

Same magazine right ?
So what's the difference ?
Why did the Danish review get pretty good scores and the Swede get shit ?

Haha the Swedish site gave it 7, the Norwegian 8 and the Danish 9. Wierd considering its the same magazine.

I understand the Danish review-score..thats another guy.
But it's kinda wierd that the Swe. and the Nor.-review is by the same dude. But gets different scores. Razz (7 vs 8 )

Where is the Norwegian review ?
Any native speakers care to summarize these findings ?
If the Danish review looked at it as an fps, and the Swedish review looked at like an rpg I can see how the scores worked out. But clearly the game is an fps with some very minor rpg elements. And yeah the demo kicked ass. And I thought the graphics were nice.

Can a mod edit this topic's title? This turned to a DM general topic rather than the beta.

I will wait for a more 'professional' review on this one. I pre-ordered the game but a (p)review would be good. Smile

That wasn't the problem, deelix. I couldn't play it without lag. ~110 ping was not good enough, although this is my average or more when I play CSS on UK servers. I tried it for 2-3 times but I couldn't get a steady picture. Sad

I bought it already Very Happy

I hope you're right. I just did a quick look at the screenshots on gamespot.com and it all looks very good. If the performance is just as good as the demo (or hopefully better) this game is going to rock!! Very Happy

But what protection does this game has?

I cannot imagine that, UbiSoft kicks Starforce long time ago. I think it will have SecuROM like the last Ubi titles. And reatiVE: Informations without any sources are bf. And btw the Combination of Starforce and Tages i've never seen and that would be completely crap.

Go Razor1911, go...

Yes that can't be true because a UBI soft manager said that the anti-copy protection for next UbiSoft products won't be Starforce.
