You can't burn securom on dvd, until a crack comes out you will have to keep the image on your hd. |
Oh right! Well anyway! I just got done extracting the game via vnc on my home pc from work and then went out for my lunch. Went into my local Gamestation to check if the game was still due for retail on Friday and the guy tells me it came in today and has been allowed to go on sale early so I bought it for £29.99! No need to burn the Procyon release now and I wasted my bandwith lol. Oh well ...
I also hear lots of people are having trouble getting the game to work so at least I know not to expect any problems with a retail copy and unlike Gothic3 I feel good about my purchase lol.

ok, the asr trick worked 1 time. Now i can't get it to run anymore.
waiting for a solution then.

Its more memory heavy than HL2, so you may encounter stutter. I'd say its a little more resource heavy than HL2 : EP1. But you should run it ok if HL2 runs well at max. |
Downloading the demo now. I ran the game system test on the Dark Messiah web site and every thing on my pc was fine apart from my cpu. Looks like a upgrade sometime.
