Just get pr0t.stop and the latest daemon tools, don't even need any loader then. just hide virtual drives and launch. works perfectly fine.

yeah but the problem is if i use pr0t.stop and DT I need the Iso and that's another 7g flying around on my HD.

Worked reasonably well here, in a 5 hour gaming session last night only crashed twice. Well worth using the demo exe if you ask me.
My understanding is that a lot of the bugs ppl are experiancing are due to conflicts between ATI drivers and the game.

Well, it's highly probable that the "noCD" .exe is simply the demo.exe -- if so, I'm truly sorry about that, didn't mean to mislead anybody. However, it actually works without using prot.stop or whatever loader some people are using and which I feel uneasy applying as they can cause more harm than good. Plus I haven't had any crashes/bugs whatsoever so far. My only problem is that the game's bloody difficult on hard setting ,I'm getting slayed all the time. I might give it a try on normal difficulty :\

I have played 8 chapters with demo.exe without problems. (One crash right in the beginning, nothing after that) Can't even get the game to launch without the demo.exe..Nothing happens, not with the loader or just clicking the normal .exe . Nothing.

for the people who're having trouble still, what i did to run it was:
unmount any other securerom games
check all emultions to on
mount the image
install
use pr0t.stop
click the desktop icon and play

Why is noone listening to me? Listen i installed the game with the singleplayer only i have the newest daemon tools and i dont have any emulations on i just ran the exe from the main folder and it worked fine can anyone else please try this and confirm it works on your pc to!

i dont understand all this probleme with loading mm.exe
Ive got one dvd drive plug > F: and iso mount with DT4HE > G:
Only use procyon loader and load.
Wtf ?
Well level when you run on the roof is so nice .

Because they experienced a lot of bugs. IGN gave 8.8 and their only - was the low poly count on certain things while others were beautifully mastered.

I bet they ran into issues like some of the ATI stuff. but unsatisfying combat? They must have got a different game by accident. |

Why is nobody listen to you? well i try but you think that i am a morron!
Well my friend take the real MM.EXE and trace it with OLLYDBG then you should see some nice features coming up then it won't work with just a fresh install and just run the MM.EXE file, how could it be possible that so many peeps have problems to run this and they only can use pr0tstop or the demo.exe ?
Its not only the MM.EXE but some .dlls and some scripts been included to run it with any probs, it always a hard way to crack .exe !
Meanwhile you can run the game as very normal ? if so then its time that you may start an own rls group and try convinve your good work up here or just stay away with bumb replies!

Whatever it worked for me yay! Anyway does anbody know where to find the leather straps so i can complete that sword? it said in the book it was nearby but i coulndt find it.

HL2 was revolutionary when it came out - best gfx, incredible physics, nice gameplay (that time) etc..

Let's not start that again.
Gamespot gave Dark Messiah a 6.7 because they didn't get there salary yet. Come on...let's be serious, except for the big game database and images, Gamespot has some really retarded staff...
If you like the game fuck the reviews. Many games have gone this path and have been forgotten because a stupid fuck didn't got bribed. Have the caracter to make up your own mind.
As for the bugs...what do you expect. It's a source engine based game. Remember Bloodlines. Do you think Valve made Steam for the good of mankind. Besides the financial reasons they knew they're engine was full of bugs and they won't be able to patch them in time. So they invented the great fuck of beyondness.
I personally like Dark Messiah but I'm waiting for a cracked version so I can easily burn and run it without the DVD.

Its just a fun game...no need really to look for this or that in this one. Its a well done Hack'n Slash, nice graphics, same ol story  and its just fun to play, nothing deep nothing over the top...well done!...simple as that.

If you say not use demo exe im not use it. noCD in r3dshift url is fine? his work or not?
I gotta say though, the fucking 3/4 loading lockup bullshit has to fucking stop. I can't even alt tab or ctrl-alt-del or anything to kill the process. It fucking takes over the pc and refuses to minimize. I HATE THAT! I have to cold boot every single time it happens, which is far to often.
