German version is working mate ive had it since earlu hours of this morning and played it about 1-2 hours, Ive gotta say for me this is the worst Need for speed ever graphics are just shit and the gameplay feels old and slugish compared to the new racers out with whats on the 360 already this just seems crap and the graphics really really are shit for a 360 game and it suffers from pretty frequent framerate issues.
Waste of a dual layer but atleast I didnt waste £50 on this shit.

Impressions
Game play - I haven't decided on game play yet, as I am not far into the game, the addition of crew members could add a nice new dimension to the game, but I enjoyed the older game play types fine, so it could just add a new complication.. I think its going to end up being down to personal opinion, for those who like that little bit extra, your probably going to like the addition.
Graphics - The cut scenes both FMV and in game are amazing, the facial animation in game is just mad, its the best I've seen in a game to date and beats anything yet on the 360 or PC.. The in game cut scenes look next gen and are nice.. I'm left wondering why this isn't translated into the actual game play graphics.. While racing some of the graphics don't seem to have any AA, they're oddly coloured and look horrid, however in some situations the graphics do pull back, generally it seems the plant life is mainly to blame.. maybe my thoughts on this will change as I continue playing.
Sound - I love the sound tracks to all NFS games, and this one is no different.. not much else to say on that one..
Overall - Get the game and give it a try, its worth burning, but not everyone will want to play it for hours on end.

when i pop this game into the console , it says i have to update!! will this effect any of my downloaded/back up games? i have only just got my 360 back from being flashed , what does the update do? i have a hitachi drive.

Any opinions on the GFX? For me its the biggest issue.. what about the racing speed.. feels slower than the previous games..

its deffo not slower thats for certain although i admit i only use incar/front bumper views as all racing games should be played, lol. I like the graphics, i'm running it on a 32" HDTV and i've always prefered the night time setting anyway as thats where street racing usually takes place so feels more realistic. Handleing is no different from previous either. Drift racing is fun when you hit top speed and just doing combo after combo at break neck speeds around the bends. I'm a big fan of all the N4S game anyway so ain't got nothing bad to say.
I would say the cops are abit tougher though this time round and more frequent, think that is due to the heat levels that change per zone so more cops about.

Does well as a time passer, but nothing i would buy.

.. I'm going to grab this one even though people have been saying bad things, I always enjoy a good arcade racer and this is the first that's hit the 360 that I've really wanted to try.. I'm a sucker for custom car type stuff..
