Ohh okay I missunderstood, sorry about that. I agree though. I have on many instances, heard my friends talk about what they feel comfortable doing, but also men saying the same thing. I have heard those stories too from my male friends.

I don't dominate people who don’t want to be or ask to be dominated. I wont take on a submissive who I think cannot handle it either.

I tend to be as natural leader any place I go, that is not the same though, for dominating people in a kink setting. I also have no issues taking orders from an authority who is male in regular life.
It turns out after about 9 years in the community, one of the first things I learn is that the ones who are submissive in their kinky private lives often enjoy jobs and pastimes in controlling and dominating fields, positions of power in their regular life.
This means a male dominated society is likely to have a good amount of male submissive, because kink is the alternative.
Humans have fetishes often for things that are taboo, it helps develop the excitement for the unknown.
Still, there are also plenty of men who are also submissive in their regular life, who are submissive in kink too.
Fetish is hard to comprehend unless it is in your own eyes and its your way of getting off. And there is a fine line between fetish and a sick or mental deviation that requires treatment and should not be encouraged.
There are just things you cannot allow to go on without saying something to the person about how they need to get help but I tend to respect people for their fetish when it is a healthy one, as it is real to them and if that is what gets them off, -it just is- and can be frustrating for people who’s partners judge them or think they are sick.
Plenty of men especially in other countries with more social restrictions, come to me with stories of how unhappy they are in their life because of their wives thinking they are sick for wanting to submit to a woman.. I do things depending on what we both are into, and generally that means a discussion before hand, mentioning the persons limits and hard limits and -no go- areas. I can play what ever role fits the mood, and sometimes that means being cruel, other times it means being strict and nurturing at the same time.
All the time though, it means me being completely in control of someone's welfare and safety and if they flip out while being tied up, its up to me to make sure they come down safe and are okay. On the goth chicks, yeah unfortunately, most people in my scene try to say we are different than the preppies and jocks, gangsters, emo kids, rockabilly, and all of different groups because we are goth/industrial/psyber, but then we all wear black of some kind, big boots, piercings, crazy hair and a great majority of us tend to be into biting lol .. yah real unique huh?
There is also a loose representation of a mockery of the fetish scene in the goth/industrial culture. This is what I call fashionable or aesthetic fetish. People going around wearing bondage gear but not really understanding what its for or what it represents, but want to look cool and shocking. The kind of people that think when they see me with a man on a leash, that they can pull on it and then they almost lose their arm and I explain why you do not touch some one's collar without asking first.
Fetish parties, well ofuckingcourse I have.. hehe I have been to some really hardcore ones and even private sex houses/clubs.. this is not too uncommon though in the fetish scene.
