Ya right, how can the image be 5.5gigs and the installed game, 4.5gigs? Rolling Eyes

not saying that pic is real or anything just wanted to say that you are an idiot. BF2142 image is 3.5 gb and installed game 1.5gb. and there are many more examples of image being larger than installation.

Oh thank you for enlightening me lord!

Lastest Info : Curerom and Daemon Tools will not work...

Prot.Stop and Securom Loader maybe could work, but it's not confirmed at the moment....

Depends when will you have to to input it. If won't have to do it with installation we just need a clone. But if it asks for a key when installing then we will need it.

To those looking forward buying/playing the german version:
Ppl claim that synchro and speakers are TERRIBLE...
Often the text displayed does not match what's being said !
Anyways they also say that if you bought the german version, which probably applies to any localised version, you can select "English" during install and play in English.

Anyone knows if "unable to patch" problems some people were having are solved? AFAIK only D2D people had them...

If this affects even the CD/DVD versions of the game, groups are perhaps waiting until developers resolve this problem... Just a theory while we wait :/

Now now boys and girls, don't forget that it'll take ages for us to download it, so it's not like we're about to play it...

Shesh, I'd never thought I'd want a game so badly. I can't even concentrate on my university papers that are due next week now Sad

Bought it. If you live in Kingston, ON, EB Games at Cataraqui has it. Was giving me some crap about unable to find or verify DVD until I uninstalled daemon. Guess I have to get a new version.

The game is downloading the patch now so I will see, but I think that it is a wide spread problem they will solve soon.

EDIT: what do you know, it worked. either retail doesn't have the problem, or they fixed it.
