Same thing - MP starts normally but SP crashes at start...Thats Awful...(SpliterCell4.exe has encountred an error..bla-bla-bla) The latest DX9 installed - Latest nVidia drivers... Latest BIOS.. Latest MB drivers... AMDX2Optimiser installed...Latest AMD drivers....STPD1.35... No DVD drive connected... WTF?
Someone know the reason? Or soluthion ?

can someone check in thier splinter.ini what they have for nummber in ShadowResolutionDegree and ShadowTurnOffDegree becuse i have 0 in both of them and my shadows is reealy strange

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Manchester 3800+@2500Mhz
Cooler BY: Zalman Cnps-9500CU-Led
RAM: 2Gb Dual Channel Corsair XMS 416Mhz (2-2-2-5-10-11) (1GB x 2)
GFX: EVGA e-GeForce 7600GT CO Edition 600\1600
CRT : HITACHI CM625 17' 1920x1440@60hz/ 1152x864@115hz.
I can start and play Multiplier as normal.. But Single player.. Crashes - I'll make some screens right now.

the same thing happend to me because i had my comp hooked up to my tv, but when i hooked it up to my crt as well and ran it in clone mode and set the crt as primary, the game ran fine
im assuming you get the d3d error, if you look in the error report

if it was a p2p group it wouldnt have stats........
and mike- that was discussed on the previous page. could be just a file thats still left there. if it was a preview version that screen would have loaded during the install or soemthing like that.
there's no otherevidence of it being a preview build.
however it did come very eary, and the retail date is the 9th....

He's a litlle bit right IcedFreon... NETSHOW is like TLF, both have own torrent trackers, irc, ed2k server and ftp and so on.

To the one who said SM3.0 cards can't display true HDR...  What a moron, just stick your head and your hands in your ass, and continue your hibernation until you're dead!
Iced, the problem with this leftovers (icons, dialogs, images) is that there are just too many of them! Ubisoft isn't a noob company (even if they are acting like one atm), they would have gotten rid of those resources if they were not needed.

i have a really really strange problem. i hope someone in here can help me. often my monitor shuts down. in the middle of game and i dont know why. until now i never closed the usually, it always crashes after a mapchange or my monitor goes black, the game continues but my monitor is in stand by modus (i have iiyama tft 17"). did anyone has a clue what this could be? i can play 10-20 mins but than it turns off :/
i set off my screensaver and the energy turn off. i hope someone can help me.

that happens to me too, all you can do it do a hard reboot. its the yasu or prot.stop (if you are using that?) and the game making each other crap out.. makes your cd drives say they've got a bad block and can cause a bsod.

How the fuck do you use your unlockable equipment once you unlock it. I'm at the cruise ship mission and i've completed every single star objective so far, on normal difficulty, and yet none of my unlocked equipment shows up in my missions. After every single mission with star objectives, it's told me that i've unlocked such and such gadgets, such as the auto lock pick and different grenades for the grenade launcher, but they don't show up in the missions! Does anyone else have this problem? Could it have something to do with the fact that i've set my firewall to refuse the game internet access?

I don't know, this does seem retail to me.
Securom refers to the disc as "Splinter Cell DA Master". Master = retail.
Also, I've never seen a beta use the standard version of Secruom.

i've got the same mess as u my friend,
the shangai level is pian in the ass to load first, but then tft shuts down etc :'(
