You can restart the 30 days w/ a command. I recall it posted in one of the Vista threads.

I believe you can do it 2-3 times before the resets don't work anymore (in other words, you have about 60-90 days to wait for a crack Smile ).

1.will wait till there is a real crack and not a workaround that only works till 2007
2.who needs it now , becoz there are no drivers for it
3.and no games that REALLY NEEDS it

I'm sorry but installing a completely new OS from a mounted drive seems totally retarded.
What if:
1) The new OS won't work with your DT installation and leave the system in a state between old and new?
2) The OS does a reboot to launch its on installer for the rest but fail horribly because then the DVD will be "gone"?

Its just stupid on so many levels. Spend the 20ct for a DVD-R already you cheapos. I'm sorry but it had to be said.

@Hfric: there are plenty of vista drivers around, most included in the OS. The main problem are graphics drivers but other than that driver support is pretty good.

Yes, Daemon Tools 4.06 works great with Vista RTM. I'm using the 32-bit version because from what I hear, 64-bit Vista is a piece of shit right now.

Not really no. There's workarounds which do the job for now but as soon as Microsoft tell their activation servers to reject beta/RC keys then anyone who clean installs Vista will be screwed. Hopefully proper cracks will appear before then.

What about games in general? do they work? dark messiah... carbon... pes6?
Also i think 64bit Vista is just as shitty as XP 64bit, since theres few compatibility with 64bit still

Remember when microsoft was giving RC keys for people that were in the RC1/RC2 testing program?

That's right Wink

I had two keys. One for me and one for my uncle. Sorry no PM's please!

for the info on the Microsoft site you can read that games written for win xp will work 10% to 15% slower or don`t work at all , why :
*Aero skin
*Vista uses more ram
*dx10 can`t emulate dx9 in 100%
*All graphic drivers for vista are still in beta phase

Works fine in RC2, there is the intro video bug like on XP but after deleting the movies folder it runs like a charm.
Nvidia or Ati drivers are already available, they are just missing some advanced settings like the pure video ones for nvidia
