i was not asked to activate!

Although I don't think that activation is not necessary.

If you look in Word/Options/Resources you'll see an Activate button and a statement indicating it's necessary to use all features. By that, I think they're referring to such things as the ability to download templates, updates, etc.

Edit: Despite appearances, it turns out that if you press 'Activate' it tells you you're already activated. Score one for Enterprise.

I think it's the real deal and Communicator might be a free download or something?
The MS website says Communicator won't be available until the second quarter of 2007.

Sorry to bring the language question up again, but i am wondering what, if any, spelling & grammar languages are included? Right now im using Office 2003 English, with the Proofing Utility pack as well.. Dont know what is included in the WiNK release.. Anyone? Which spelling and grammar languages are included?

Cheers!

btw, DV2, if you are looking for Office 2007 with spanish interface language, wait for the retail release of the spanish version, this one is the US-Eng version..

I noticed this new version installs all this extra crap automaticlly.

Make sure u disable the services from startup. Look in msconfig AND services tab to disable them.

After I install Office 2007, my Outlook Express spell checker language only shows up in French and I need english. I have tried going custom install on Office 2007 and I take out the French and Spanish proofing tools but office keeps them anyways and doesn't allow a english spellchecker for OE. In Word though, Englishg works fine. This is so odd.

Anyone know how to change this?
