You just need a USB cable, and if you want to store games on-the-go you'll need a bigger memory stick (1GB or 2GB should do it).
Then you just open the memory stick in Windows/Mac and drag & drop your files over, too easy! There is no burning.
Not sure about what "packs" are out there, seeing as how when I got mine it was just the standartd pack for like $200 I think.
Once you get your PSP you'll want to check your firmware version. From there you have choices as long as it isn't 2.8 or higher.
You can revert it back to 1.5, or upgrade to 2.71, both are nearly the same although some zealots will argue one or the other is better (*cough* [sYn] *cough* )
Anyways, once you get your PSP, come on back and we'll help you out, it's super easy.

if the pack includes a memory stick larger that 512mb and a usb cable then yes, you should be able to store your games just fine.
BUT if the psp is firmware version higher than 2.71 you WILL NOT be able to play games from your memory stick until 2.80 is higher.

The standard $200 pack comes only with a 32MB card I believe.
However, this is enough to run devhook and usbmod if you don't have enough cash to pick up a higher capactity mem stick.
Also, if you get a 512MB you'll be spending a LOT of time with ripkits and compression tools.

Be careful if you buy a new PSP, it might be have a new FW installed so you can't use ISO's and homebrew, and that sucks...
You can tell which FW is installed on it by looking at the serial number on the box, but I don't have the list available right now which tells you which letter is a certain FW.

Yes you won't have trouble putting games on that. Although some of the larger ones you might only fit 1 game on there.
@bringiton, oh that's useful, I'd like to see that too if you can find it.

Thanks, for the info. If you could post the list whenever you got the time i'd appreciate it.
