If by LSL you are referring to the Leisure Suit Larry series then:
Blasphemer! LSL shall forever reign supreme as the king of point and clickers, as everyone knows its based around the best subject matter.
Long live LSL (even though its now dead), and all praise the comedic genius of Al Lowe.
If anyone hasn't already, grab a copy of Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love For Sail. Narrarator jokes and characters are hillarious (although your English has to be pretty good to get the punchlines). Its raunchy, yet tasteful. By far my favorite of any adventure game.

Yeah, I'm a married woman. Like I want to play a game where I have to get into as many womens knickers as I can.
Give me Police Quest.

Ok, ok, so the game has a particular target audience. Gender aside however, in terms of sheer comedic value and creativity, it's simply unmatched.

Full Throttle, The Dig... In fact, most (if not all) old school Lucas Arts adventures are the best point and click adventures ever made.

LSL series was never my cup of tea. Space quest and police quest ruled at the time!
