					| Just want to be sure that after trying the DC on you HDTV,  you tried it on a standard TV without issues.
 Because 2 years ago, my DC stopped displaying picture, but all the sounds could be heard.  The GPU was fried, in my case.
 
 I can't actually help your issue, sorry,  but I just wanted to make sure that your DC wasn't gone.

					| The DC has great RGB signal via the scart lead (if its the proper one and not a composhite one with missing pins) so make sure its receiving RGB. BUT, even when RGB is enabled SCART always carries standard video (composhite) too so you should be getting a picture.
 Weird indeed.

					| I remember with the original playstation i bought some scart cables from overseas that didnt work. It turned out they had the japanese scart pinout that differs from the standard euro version. Probably not the case here , but worth a mention none the less
