I just want vista now...lol..i don't WANT to wait...
I am already buying it in Jan...so the exp date in June doesn't matter to me...
what i find interesting, as i am not a hacker/cracker by any means....so far, i am now into the guts of the .msi's on my system (yes it is genuine and not the pre-install .msi files ) and you can see the check wga thing all over the place. I used to think keygening was complicated and stuff. I am just fascinated at how far you can go (findng, changing values etc) and have no real knowledge. So far i have even found values that tell windows defender to go to microsoft, and do a check sum. I assume, that ultimate check sum is what determines if it is genuine. The number match so it is valid.
the one thing i have seen all thru out my little quest today...it seems this wga is becoming even more important to MS, and Office may now start doing it. So it seems outsmarting or busting wga is going to be even more important soon.
I just find this interesting, and who knows...
maybe someone else, who knows alot more than me, might get a different idea to try to finish the crack is all.

just get the aio version and use it i had no problems installing on my pc."dual xeon ht 2.8's and os hardrives on a raid pci card" bill version is crap. besides the real version ships with 64 and 32 bit os's on dvd and all versions. If the bill version is legit why doesnt it have both 64 and 32 bit?
just get Microsoft.Windows.Vista.RTM.32Bit.and.64Bit.AIO.DVD.READ.NFO-Winbeta
and just wait awhile for good crack

problem with the winbeta one , some people like myself get a black dos prompt during install and it doesn't get past that . :\
why can't winbeta just release a unmodified RTM -.-

MS won't put in WGA into Office 2007 in my opinion. Office 2007 uses a completely new format that MS will want people to adopt, and the fastest way to get them to adopt it is to just let the illegal copies float around until everyone's used to it. Office 13 though, is when the fun starts.

Now Microcrap wants everyone to but a copy of Windows, my question is hoe the fook do we poor users pay out over 200 bucks for a legit copy ???
I dont want to buy the cheap ass versions that have been stripped...
I hardly get 500 bucks a month working hard...
My last of my money I saved up went to a 6800 GFX Card because my 9700Pro burnt up...
I will have to save for over 9 months to get around 80 to 90% of that sum...

the german language pack has been released yesterday by a group called HS...im using it...works fine!

snotless...my first attempt using 2099 method failed. suckie, because i installed all sort of app and games on that first vista attempt too. **cries** so, learn little ones to wait until the next day to see if the trick worked or not before installing all kinds of shite!
i've tried it again, but this time on a completely formatted separate hard drive. The first time I tried it on a hard drive that has a windoz os on one partition and a formated empty partition. I installed vista on the formatted empty partition. I also messed with the time before the setup concluded.
The second time on the separate hard drive works (it's been two days and vista still shows 30 days left)! I also didn't mess around with the time settings before setup concluded this time around. I'm a chicken-dork so i'm not going to go online yet. :L But i've heard you can use ms update and download stuff without any issue, 'cept you need to disable the time sync crap in the time control so vista can't call home to the mothership.
Does anybody know how to get rid of the built-in vista zip support? The damn thing annoys the heck out of me. i've tried the "regsrv32 /u zipfldr.dll" trick from old winxp but it does not work.
I also man-fux'ed vista explorer into my liking. I had to slap that fool several times in order to get it to remember my settings and get rid of that f**kin' retarded "favorite links" in the upper left hand corner. And why is the menu bar disabled by default? Bend over and let MS come inside you is what. The bastards.
So, anyway, this is what I did to whip vista into my liking:
0. turned off the start/welcome center (instead of holding my hand, you can stick it up my arse, ms -- you baby-pissin' noob)
1. got rid of the stupid favorite links in windows explorer
2. enabled "run..." in the start menu (so anal of ms to hide it)
3. switched "control panel" from link to menu in start menu (as if i'm going to click on a link then double click on classic view then double click once more on what i want to start; a lot less clicking if you turn the link into a menu)
4. showed admin tools in start menu
5. killed the bloated sidebar with widget crap
6. turned off the annoying uac (reminds me of my ex who nags all day long -- bitch, just shut the fork up)
7. stopped ms defender service from loading
8. turned off the pathetic ms firewall
9. turned off the bitchin' security center's nags
10. disabled scheduling of the sorry-excuse for defrag app (using auslogics disk defrag instead)
11. disabled the autoplay whore.

So the 30 days trick seems to work. I have installed Vista with the 2099 trick and i'm writing right now using the new OS. I can confirm that windows update works fine also without activation. Now i have to wait until tomorrow and see if it shows still 30 days.
Anyway i think that Vista can be ufficially cracked.

No i meant that Vista can be considered cracked. Sorry english is not my first language.
The 30 days trick works and you can also use windows updated so no need for another crack.
We have just to wait proper hardware drivers and then we can leave XP.

Vista is to XP what 95 was to 3.11: A much better OS overall with less polish.

I think they can't do anything. Also XP seems to have the same problem and was not fixed in five years. Moreover only a few people know this work around.

Lol original serial... And then what? It will be blacklisted by MS in a matter of minutes and you'll find yourself with a half-functional non-genuine Vista.
