Well EA, how about a big FAH Q to you guys. Damn man, why has EVERY flipping game series got to be developed for a console as well... >.< I hope that C&C360 (as i would call it right now) is something different then the pc version...
EA is destroying EVERY game series it has adopted so far! Look at the NFS series, commercialized to fit in modern days bling bling culture. Way to go EA, way to go...

As long as it doesn't turn out like Renegade did it's probably going to be OK.
(Game was OK as such but mixing genres is quite difficult and if they dumb down this title to make it more appealing to console users then most C&C fans will probably go crazy)
I'll wait for a demo before I give my final verdict but it can go either way.

Well Renegade was a FPS and tried to cross genres, C&C 3 is old school RTS which get the franchise back to basic.

you think they give a fuck ? lol imo porting across platforms isnt a problem but ea and others tends to simplify everything to be as easy as possible and more console friendly :/

Well Battle for Middle Earth survived pretty much intact in it's console incarnation, so hopefully it'll be the same with C&C.

I'll tell you how it's gonna be. SHIT!!!! EA are gonna fuck it up just like they've fucked everything else up. C&C on console. Give me a fucking break. EA developing C&C is just like if Lada wanted to build Porsche. FPS and RTS are for PC ONLY IMO!! If that makes me a fanboy, so fucking be it.

yes thats true but try to play a C&C game on a pad ...  and yes i played "C&C Retaliation" on PSx and its was SHITY , the only thing that saved this game was a PSX emu and a mouse  , don`t get people playing a RTS with a pad  are they masochistic or what ... |

I wasn't mocking anything, and it wasn't part of my comment really. It was just what you wrote wasn't exactly crystal clear, now was it? Of course I am aware that many games are console ports, nothing new.
However, I have yet to see an RTS that has been ported that is bad. LOTRBFME2 was ported to consoles, and it was great on the PC.
I never played SCDA on the PC, I played it on the console, and enjoyed it immensely.

On that, i'm totally with you. RTS + Console, isn't exactly dream combination, but would
you rather play a dumbed down, buggy PC version or atleast try to get used to it on console?
I know i would go with the second option, worth a try, imho.
Not a fan of C&C series anyway, so 'im pretty much being hypothetical.

I would rather play a dumbed down PC version (ain't gonna be anymore bugged than the console version), because honestly, the console version will be just as dumb (if not dumber) - so I'd much rather play it with proper controls (keyboard/mouse) instead of trying to play an RTS with a gamepad.

Absolutely correct. I never understood how these console-fags play FPS on the consoles. It just wasn't designed for that. Games like Crash Bandicoot, for example, are console only and I agree – it would be lame on the PC, so why do devs try to crossbreed everything!!!

IMO the pc will always be better than console because:
1: The controls (keyboard & mouse)
2: Modding possibilities
3: Upgrade when you need (one console is one console, until the next gen. comes along)
4: You can use the pc for many other things than just playing games and watch/listen to DVD/CD.
The only downside IMO is that the gaming world seems to have been favouring the consoles lately which is totally unacceptable.
C&C on the console is fucking blasphemy. It's like playing Tekken on the pc, WTF?

He was crapping on about how console gamers are going to be able to own pc gamers in this game
In his exact same words
