I wish Firefox was more website friendly. You have to keep IE installed for those few websites that don't work on it.

That says it works by "Embedding Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox".

Sounds to me you are just running IE in a Firefox tab. Doesn't sound like it really fixes the problem with Firefox itself. Might as well just use IE then.

Please pay attention to the convo. I do use Firefox but there are several websites that I visit that are not compatible with it. You are forced to use IE.

I agree, Opera is brilliant (and I never have to switch to IE7 to view webpages). The only reason I keep IE7 is because I need my website to be compatible with it.

that's exactly what you are doing Wink

And the problem isn't with firefox, it's the website with poor coding that only displays properly in IE Wink

anyways, it's a timesaver since you only have to click a button at the bottom of the screen to switch the engine you load the current page in. quite handy Wink

Hi!
I've tried out IE7 too. I think it's good, I'm not a fan of ff btw.

I've got one problem though: even if drop shadows are turned on for desktop icons they won't appear so there's that blue crap around my icons.

I've tried turning it off then on again but it didn't help.

Did someone experience this?

Idea
Sorry just found it: Active content causes this. I've NFOrce RSS in the corner of my desktop, with Vista it will disappear. Wink
