The worst game of the year is Rainbowsix Lockdown, or some similiair shit to that like Ubersoldat etc. You can't say Oblivion or Gothic3 are the worst of 2006, these are beyond avarage games even though you might not like it or you've been disappointed, then it's the biggest disappointment but these games are far from the worst games of 2006. NFS Carbon is not the worst game of the year, there are games like fucking nitro11 cobra..... This thread should be renamed.

I was expecting people to be civil about the whole thing. I suppose that's too much to ask when young teenagers that have underdeveloped social skills, have their games insulted.
Nevertheless, keep the flaming down and don't argue with me, I know what's best.

Oblivion was one of the worst games aswell, because it was boring. The game looks great, but i didnt get anything out from it.

There's many game that were bad. But "biggest" names:
- NFS Carbon... NFS franchise is dead...
- NHL 07... Is there any Beta Tester at EA ? Play 20 minutes, and you find many major "bugs" they will never solve before 08.
- Splinter Cell Double Agent... More a letdown than "worst game of the year".
- Battlefield 2142.. I liked battlefield 2, but not this one...
- 99% of EA games (just in case I miss one, EA had a terrible year)
I hate console, but PC game got so bad this year. Every game seem to be a letdown. And since many "bugs" are in PC version and also on console, they never fix them because they can't fix the consoles games. So if it' buggy, it stay buggy for everyone and they call this bug a "feature"...

I havn't played Carbon long enough to call it the worst game of the year but they do seem to have a hard time coming up with something new. But then again that goes for all EA sports titles i've played (07 editions that is).. they are just 06 renamed to 07 more or less.. very dissapointing..
I wanna nominate EA in general, wtf are they doing ?!

well..as others said befor:shity year for the pc gamers, but the one that i didn't like most is scareface...and also justcasue...i expected much much more :/
justcause used nice visuals and some cool idea's, but the total picture was bad from my pov.
elmatador was disapointment also..bugy and short and repeated.
to make the long story short lol..lets hope 2007 to be more promising;)

This is a pretty hard question, the most disapointing games I have played this year have to be these.
GameBoy Advance: Riviera: The Promised Land - Boring and repetitive
PC Version: Psychonauts: Not my cup of tea didnt like the graphics
PC Version: X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse - Boring and repetitive Crap graphics
