I really can't agree with oblivion, they've built a great game generator, but far from a great game. Can anyone tell me who's still playing oblivion?

1: Oblivion. 2nd time round playing it. OOO Lite mod installed. Hard setting. No fast travel. No subtitles. No fast skip of dialogue. Totally different game. This is the way to play it. Yes, a lot of running away at the start. I got to level 100 in alchemy pretty fast, and now I can create 52% shield potions for 192 seconds in a field. Mind you, I need them.

2. GTR2. Amazing game. Currently playing my way through. Haven't really begun to start modding or tinkering with my car settings. But i'm blazing through the custom tournaments. And once you get good at driving in GTR2, playing any other driving game (such as NFS) is just TOO EASY. As any seasoned GTR2 pro will tell you. Heck, I could play NFS:Carbon whilst eating my dinner.

3. Fifa07. Ok, I don't like EA games. But I just did a season in championship division with my made up team. Oh, half the players in it were from the 1st division. (So I wasn't playing a mega team). They were all young (18-25) and all British. I just won the English Cup, and came top of the championship league. Now in the premiership and just beat Liverpool 2-1 in the charity shield. Graphics are not that good. Management mode is a little lacking. Horrible menu system. But for some reason it all just works.

----------------------------------------------

Lemon Awards.

1. Never Winter Nights 2. I was soooo looking forward to this game. It still has potential, but I just cannot live with the camera controls. They make me feel sick. And why does it run so slowly, even with shadows on minimum. And what's with the .Net framework? Is this game written in VB?

2. Flight Simulator X. I got rid of my well loved FS2004 to play this game. And all I got was a lousy 12fps and worse graphics than before. Ah well, I guess this is a game your PC has to grow into. No doubt it will rock on a 2nd generation DX10 card. maybe an 8850GT??

Fifa 07 rofl m8 get pro evo 6 and get the tweaked gameplay option file
chants kitserver with stadiumserver STEAMROLLERS fifa just creams it.
currently got every stadium kit boot ball banner logo you can think of and loving it.
The reason you won the champions league is because fifa ai sucks
some guy has made a tweaked gameplay file for this and its best football
game ever made simple as that feels like your playing a human opponent.
I got fifa 07 as a stop gap until pes6 came out guess what deleted fifa.

I'm torn between (in no particular order) -

Medieval 2 : Total War
Neverwinter Nights 2

Were it not for the massive amount of cutscene gamekilling bugs, NWN2 would win out no problem.
That said, I've been having a fuckin A time playing Medieval 2 lately.

Can't decide Sad

Thanks for the heads up. Have to give it a whirl. To be honest not too bothered about proper kits or player names. I always play custom games. Besides after the 1st season the teams are always out of sync anyway. Cheers though mate, just checked out the screenies for Pro Evo 6. Looks good.

Call of Juarez was an unexpected hit.
Too bad the multiplay was a bit thin though.

Tomb Raider Lengend was the first Tomb Raider I really played since TR2, and I loved it. It was very much back to basics in my opinion.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
particularly the early parts of the game where you were unarmed and just had to flee from all dangers.

Very excellent Xbox port, with an amazing single player and hopefully a sequel will arrive one day Sad
