Try this, since it worked for me.
Mount the CCD file and NOT the .CUE file.
That's what got it working for me.
... if you don't have a CCD file, then I have no idea.

Anyone else got a idea or has the same problem?
Grtz! |
Try reading the readme (in the sims2 dir) there is something in there about that.

I can play the game fine on my laptop, with the first cd emulated in Alcohol 120%. But i can't burn the freakin cd's. Every time when I start the game, I need insert cd 1. So the game isn't burned properly on cd 1. How should the settings be? I'm also using Alcohol120_trial_1_9_2_1705.
cheers.
If the bitch says "no", ask if she has a sister.

The settings I used were:
Write Speed: 8X
Write Method: RAW DAO
Datatype: Customize
Check marks only for Write and Enable Buffer Underrun Technology.

Are you leaving Alcohol running ? as i "think" it is needed to provide the emulation for your burned cd

If you have problems getting Sims 2 running with Alcohol or Daemon, i.e. you get the "you have a cd-emualtion software running" message, try unsintalling CloneCD. That solved it for me and I'm using Alcohol 120% 1.9.2. Build 1705.
