Not really, the "patch" was just a VBS edit, but the checking of 3 rearms is done at API level. So the vbs file says "success" when nothing happens.

Strange, i don't see any problem with my windows activation.
I used the Ind crack , and at control panel -> system, it says " Windows is activated ".
I dont see any timer that says to me that they will expire...

blackm00n:
Start Orb -> Run -> Winver.exe
It should say "Evaluation purposes only".
Mr_Sora:
It never worked for anyone, it's just noone bothered to check the real minutes timer.

Lol, a crack won't help you, my friend...
An evaluation is evaluation, only a timebomb crack should help you, and that's harder to do than an activation crack.

Oh ok, well from just browsing through that forum, some people said it worked for them, and then suddenly they started saying it stopped working, so that was my only left conclusion to make!

Look at the patch maker's comment. He explains exactly what went wrong (or actually what he neglected to do).

My head hurts from all of these different cracks/methods/etc. to get around MS's security. I've been reading through forums after forums and downloaded many so called patch. It's all done by amatuer/noobie/casual crackers. None of the big guns are doing anything about it.
I've tried 2099 method 3 times. Then tried the slmgr.vbs swap trick. I doesn't reset to 30 days but I think it'll just work for 3 times. I'm avoiding all the cracks that replaces old files because that's just silly. Why would you want to go back to RC1/RC2? That's just plain backward to me. So many people have done that only to find that it'll expire on the RC1/RC2 expiration date.
All of this means wasting a lot of people's time with little to no effect. I think MS has won this time around. The hacker/crackers have been defeated by MS.

The rearm trick of the original slmgr.vbs file how many times can be made?
Anyway using that trick plus the 2099 one that has the good effect to make the system count only the effective time of usage you can use Vista before format at least for 200 days.

Yeah, as it is apparent from the time RTM is out, a crack will not be out that soon.

Microsoft Windows Vista Final (c) Microsoft - BILLGATES
ECHOS NFO says nothing about crack.

OMG, Echos' release is MUI, for crying out loud! READ BEFORE POSTING CRAP! It's been asked a hundred times already! MUI = Multilingual User Interface, meaning it installs language packs in Vista so you could make UI be in English, French, etc...

the 2099 "trick" neer did work. Those who think it does simply do not understand how the time works in vista. They think it just counts straight down... but no. It counts down continually but only records the minutes left to the system every 60 minutes. Thats why when you do a reboot within a small amount of time you think the counter has reset. Indeed it has not...

Damn of course i was asking is there difference between English version of Vista from MUI by Echosand and English version of BillGates.
1. Its same build?
2. What editions included in BillGates version?
P.S. I heard non MUI version comes with other languages as well?

MUI means: that is NOT an operating system (not a MUI capable build!), only the pure package of language files. Clear now? So there could NOTbe any difference.
All editions are included in BillGates release.
Other language packs (and integrated MUI builds) will be released early spring 2007.
P.S.: and of course, all vista builds are able to use language packs.

I thought only the Enterprise and Ultimate version was able to use mui? Or am I misunderstanding you here, did you mean build as in beta/rtm?

I havent told its something else that just different language installs on dvd, i asked if it is same build number because i havent seen build in nfo file and installing just to see build i find kinda waste of time.
My second question was not in nfo for bill gates as well.
