Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) heads up the stellar cast of this intriguing new mini-series from the SciFi Channel as Detective Joe Miller, a man desperate to find the one thing he holds most dear in his life: his daughter. A small, nondescript hotel room on Route 66, its terrible history, and its supernatural contents hold the key to his daughter's whereabouts.

This sounds pretty good!

yeah but u can be pretty sure at the end of it all, it'll be a really unsatisfying ending, like it was built on an ancient indian burial ground, or aliens did it, or something equally stupid... like an m night schamelayhan movie most likely

Consdering Matrix stole things from everywhere else, I don't think they made a big sin here Wink

Wow no-one has seen ths yet or at least made a comment? lol.

I am halfway through watching the first episode right now. I was surprised to find the running time is almost 90 minutes. That could be because its the pilot episode or every episode is 90 minutes. Either way its damn good. A real cool idea and the story has a lot of potential. I am hooked already!

Edit: Ok Im done. Very good. I enjoyed it from start to finish and cant wait to watch the other 2 episodes. Each one is approximately 90 minutes Very Happy

I LOVED this show (necroing this thread)... Half the internet wanted a second mini-series. The result was that Red 5 Comics would make a comic book continuing the story.. After years of hype and stuff it has been cancelled......

Quote:
“The Lost Room” Comic On-Hold Indefinitely

Not a week goes by when we don’t receive a note from a Collector (or 10) asking about The Lost Room comic. While we’ve spoken about it elsewhere, it seems we haven’t updated the blog.

As you may know, Red 5 Comics teamed with The Lost Room writers Christopher Leone and Laura Harkcom to publish “We Kill Monsters”, their first foray into comics. From there, discussion naturally went to expanding the world of The Lost Room — a show that we at Red 5 cannot get enough of and cannot help but have a million questions about.

Since announcing the project, Christopher, Laura and series so-creator Paul Workman have not been able to work on the comic due to expanding personal and professional obligations. At Red 5, we are interested in expanding the world of the room, the event and the objects only if the original team and their vision are a part of it.

As such… until such time as The Lost Room team can re-commit to the project, you should unfortunately consider it to be cancelled… or shall we say disappeared and relocated, like the room itself. If that changes, we will let everyone know.

Thank you for your on-going words of support for the project. We continue to pass them along to the team, waiting for the day the objects will live again.

I wasn't actually interested in a comic book continuation, I never liked comic books that continues a movie or tv-show, it's a different and more limited medium.

I still hope for a second mini-series, there's soooo much left in that universe to explore, so many items that are mysteries, lost, does different things when combined, so many different groups collecting them.. and what happened to room #10 is still a mystery and how the objects became what they became. There are so many directions the creators could take with the universe they created.

And I'd LOVE to have that bus-ticket...... Very Happy
