Conclusion with merry: Ubisoft wants to let robbery copiers pursue in the future criminally. Who for example the tactics Shooter "Rainbow Six announced for 14 December: Vegas "illegaly from the net over exchange stock exchanges loads down, should adjust itself to an attendance of the police. The French enterprise wants to determine and to the responsible authorities pass the IP numbers on of the criminal ones.

It concerns to Ubisoft with priority seeking out those, which spread PC titles illegaly in the net. Interesting that it partly concerns thereby coworkers evenly that Publisher, whose balances exhibit annually enormous deficits in pirat copies.

But Ubisoft says: ONLY ON P2P....like eMule and Bitorrent. People with Usenet/Newsgroups can't be watched.

No problem with private trackers... The monitoring is happening in stupid public trackers, where most of the stuff is just so slow, you kinda wish they catch you, so you'd have something to do until it gets downloaded.

Another EA in the making. Ubisoft can blow me. Actually, that hot little producer they have, Jade Raymond, can do it Very Happy

I'll be liberating this one for sure. Hell, I may even liberate it, delete it, and do it x10 just for the hell of it. Lookit the little greedy suited fuckers going straight as an arrow all of a sudden Very Happy Very Happy

rofl fuck them, if they would produce less crap and more quality games at a fair price then they wouldn't have any problems.

assholes like ubisoft deserve to not receive one penny for half the crap they sell

remember when there always used to be demo before a game?
it's because the devs were confident with there product.

these days you are lucky to get a demo and when it comes it's more times then not after the full game release.

quality is better then quantity
game devs goto cut the crap and bring out some quality titles.
instead of half assed buggy horsecrap.

I started FPS gaming with the pc game Rogue Spear by Redstorm Entertainment
and ever since ubisoft made the rainbow games they have been pretty shit.

Was not impressed with lockdown.
I hope this time with vegas they didn't screw up again

not even a handful of games worth playing/buying come out within a year

Even if you disable the DHT public network within your bittorrent app, private trackers -when they are open to public registering- can be easily tracked and the ratio/statistics associated with your user account act as a log of your potentially illegal activity.
The easiest way to avoid a problem for a p2p guy is to be a complete lamer -leecher- (never seed), to be in a country that don't give a fuck and to pray with your up-to-date peerguardian's list of banned IP. Wink

Otherwise nothing new in Ubisoft's will to sue releasers and seeders. As i have previously said in another thread, Ubisoft need money and seems favoring its console gamers while they are pissed of the PC broad piracy, thus they make money with their console games and then release, weeks later, some ugly ports for the PC.

Im pretty psyched for this game, the xbox360 version has been getting brilliant reviews. I just hope the pc version will be just as good if not even better (mouse+keyboard ftw).

Will be the first fps game I buy since hl2, unless the initial reviews are horrible of course.

I hate the fact that they took out the "planning" phase of these games. I think that was awesome in the first ones.

I didn't like the planning stuff of the original series, seemed too much work and the AI back then wasn't so good compared to now, so they just tended to run around like headless chickens for most of it, although with games being a lot better these days I'm sure they could make a better planning phase Smile
