should move this to that forum then if you could please.
Dryan: I think France will win, but 'rape' is the wrong word because it will be a close match. I predict 2-1 with Henry and Zidane getting on the scoresheet

Italy is my favorite...the Czech are playing fine too.
I just hope stupid France will be gone after the first round.

ya i think the czech are underrated as they have many top class players but are not as well known as other players. czech are definitely a team to watch.

France have a very good team, but dont forget italy, england, germany .... etc and also dont forget that CROATIA won third place on last WORLD CUP ..... the point is that you never know whats gonna happen.
Ispep wrote: | Not sure how many Europeans there are here, or even how many of you watch and enjoy the game - but as it's one of the biggest tournaments I think it deserves a thread
Personally I will be routing for France, the clear favourites, but I don't think it will be as easy for them as most expect, in fact I'm a little worried they may falter against the 'little guys' - we've seen it before, and could feasibly see it again.
Zidane as the man of the tournament also, as he has been talking recently about regaining some stability in his game - but regardless of how well he plays he still looks awesome on the ball
But I can't see Portugal or Spain getting very far as usual, particularly the latter who never impressed me at all in their run up preparation.
What do you lot think? Obviously it's impossible to predict, but who do you fancy?
POLL: I didn't realise I hit the limit for options, unfortunately some of the underdogs got left off, Latvia for example - but I have listed them in order 'favourites' and I doubt anybody would go for team like Croatia. |

No of course I'm not underestimating any opponent, I'm just saying that the probability of anyone actually wanting to vote for them over the favourites is not good (there is a limit to how many I could list).
But I completely agree.
I think it's boring to say however that everyone has a chance, because of course, that's true! I just like to stick my head on the line in these situations, and I'd like footballers and pundits to do the same too instead of playing safe all the time.
Anyway my money is on France, especially if they play Ledley King alonside Sol - I rate the boy, but that's all he is and there is a potential for a slip up and some trouble at the back
Having said that, I doubt he play.......
but if he does

heheh.. russian have gotten 4 yellow cards in the first 45 minutes. Not a good way to keep players on the field, at least not the good ones.

Yup, but at least that match was some fun to watch, except those tons of yellow cards.
