Ehmm biggest map? Does it have 400 square miles map? Free? You need BF....

Two different things and if compared then Armed Assault is clearly better.

Oh sure, you compare a mod with arcadish gameplay with a full game which is a lot more realistic, a SIM(!) and totally different gameplay.

Real smart...

Not to mention that the map in Armed Assault is a hell of a lot bigger...

Next up: Why does WW2 makes it better? That is so different between everyone and their opinions.

Some BF2 mod can support hundreds of units in one mission? Right...

Bf2 certainly does have action-packed firefights because of its arcade nature. Looks like a cool mod. Tell me, does this allow you to control a squad of men in battle?

It does look like a well made mod to be honest (from the screenshots) but the gameplay is very different. I guarantee you play OpFlash or ArmA with regular players online and you will have such an engrossing experience. Battlefield games just degenerate into mindless action. And of course Battlefield games have truly awful and forgettable singleplayer experiences.

Although I have to say ArmA campaign is poor for me, have to wait for some good user mods.

I would like to see the opf campaign in arma. That would be great , especially the resistance campaign . That was the best imo.

I agree. It is boring and in parts very tedious, espeically when you have to fly a heli.

Thank god for ENDMISSION!

All in all, the campaign sucks, but with the mission editor, amazing battles can be easily created. They really improved the urban areas significantly.

Spent the night playing some custom coop MP Missions by Silent Dragon. There is a lot of community made mission out by now, most of them far better than the ones by BIS. Love the game, it was well worth the 44 Euro I oaid for it. And I am sure it will get better with time.
