Maybe not just for SP2 but Blackviper has some service tweaks here: http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm
edit: looks like it's only for sp1 but it should work. Works for me.

Just download the AutoPatcher 2.6 Tweak only thing and let it do the work for you.
