patch 1.01 out now.
Here is a list of fixes in the PC patch (see below for download locations):
Supports the Xbox 360 controller
- Various rare single player ingame crashes have been fixed
- Better support the use of alt-tab while in game
- Reduced the memory consumption of the game
- Multiplayer difficulty level is now accurate and can be selected accordingly
- Player will now get a kill attributed to his kill list when defender or terrorist dies of damage over time ( incendiary grenade )
- Improved quick search and custom search utility for all game modes
- Improve the chat system to ensure chat box is not always visible
- Enabled changing display resolution of the game
- Corrected some localisation issues to display correct message in correct language for various menus
- Display navigational information correctly while in observer mode
- Corrected some menu interface display error
- Respawning while in chat menu will not cause chat window to overlap the game window

they forgot to add : Updated the protection system so the stupid fucks cant play the game without the original DVD.
hm... need to find a way to make it work.

dunno why u guys with 8800gtxs like mine are having problems as mine works fine maxed out with 16aq and 16af !!!

To play with the patch use Yasu to hide your virtual drives like before but now also disable your real DVD drive as well.

In my case i have an nforce 4 mobo so i went into the device manager and disabled the channel it was on.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

patch installed, now detecting emulated device, registry trick+disabling dvdrom - game works, loading mission-entered the game-2 minutes of play-crash(pc hard reset) thx, ubi go to hell.

nope 1280x720 (720p)
everything maxed out no fps drop at all
and my pc can play any game with 16af and 16aQ its not hard!!!
so its proberly something else in ure system so don't call me a lier BOY
