The graphics is really poor considering also the lack of AA but anyway the game is really heavy. Moreover limited saves in order to increase the lenght of the game...
A real disaster at the moment.

Anyone know if Yasu 1.04 and Daemon 4.08 still work with the new 1.01 patch? Thanks.
You also have to disable your physical cd/dvd drive, either use starforcenightmare (disable node & disable CD) or disable it in the device manager.

Errr .... guns like SG552, AK, G36 etc are VERY loud in real life, hence the reason people wear hearing protection while firing them. Most games mix guns sounds way to low. SWAT 4 is one of the best examples. I could never get into that game because people talked louder than the gun sounds, was weak as piss.

I said most weapons mate, not everyone Smile

Guns without silencers = Loud. JFYI.

Yeah, but in this game they are silent. You can shoot with an m249 in a room without the enemy hearing it next door. Mainly this is because Vegas spawns in enemies as you go.

I know, Ive fired 5-6 different automatic weapons in RL myself. But not all of them sound as much as they do in movies. Like the M16 for example, pretty quiet weapon.

I love this game! I understand the differences between Vegas and Ravenshield. But I have to say that I like the gameplay more on Vegas. I am very happy about the amount of damage you can take. When you are shot the screen goes blurry, which is an awesome effect! I think the graphics and locations look great, not fantastic but great. If you haven't tried this game yet please give it a try and you will like it. The gun play is awesome fun.

I didn't have any trouble getting this game to run. I didn't upgrade with the newest patch because I haven't had any issues yet. I used DTools 4.08 with YASU 1.04 without problems. I am experiencing some slow down. My P4 3.2ghz and 6800GS looks to be fighting with HDR which is what I would expect. I have shadows turned down to low. I may just turn them off or get rid of the HDR. But it looks so good with it! I think I am probably going to upgrade to the newest version since I have read you get extra FPS by doing this.

You're lucky, I almost finished that mission.
Untill I shot my teammate in the head,
at the end of the mission on extraction.

just save the file without any file extension.
So just R6_SaveCHECKPOINT
no R6_SaveCHECKPOINT.txt or anything.

Then put it in

The first thing graphics whores will complain about with this game is the lack of AA, but I can honestly say I don't miss it - I think it looks sweet! Runs sweet too, which is always a bonus. The gameplay is what makes this game stand out more than anything, though IMO. So smooth and satisfying - ordered myself a copy after a few minutes playing.. very rare thing for me to do Smile
