and wth
we've reduced the price of Shadow Warrior from it's previous $19.95 to $10, so if you were thinking about it, now's the time!
Why is someone going to pay 20 bucks for a game? I mean yes theres always that option of piracy but seriously, no ones going to buy a dos shooter for that much. 10 is a lil more reasonable but damn. I dont even see why they'd still be charging for that game, I'd throw the damn thing up on fileplanet or something and say merry christmas.

I loved north and south. It was one of the ebst games on the amiga. Also i really liked Mega lo mania. This was another fav. I still play mega lo mania from time to time.
Some other old shooters i used to play are rise of the triad. I played that alot aswell.

Syndicate wars was one of my favourites.

Going through the 9 GB dos games and emulator I downloaded some time ago I found these after a quick scan:
Wolfenstein/Spear of Destiny ?
(Ok so that's probably too old unless DOSBox is being used)
Witchaven?
(Hack'n Slash in 1990)
Quake series?
(Tons of mods and such to improve the graphics or change the entire game)
Crusader?
(Think there were two of these Remorse and Regret)
Rise of the Triad?
(Kinda similar to Wolfenstein and nearly as old)
Strife?
(Doom RPG clone)
Cyclones?
(Old doom clone, quite fun)
System shock?
(Both are quite good but not really shooters)
Chasm?
(First game with dismembered enemies that I remember - off with the head!)
Underdogs would also be a good choice for more titles as someone mentioned above...

Strife was fucking awesome. The genre mix was so new nobody understood how great it was. Very underrated game.
