this game contains Tages according to the french forum...

Let's hope the blade will come to the rescue like they did for Gothic III...

However as the english isn't due for some time (2007 by Atari...) it might not be cracked this year Sad

Game looks descent though...

LoL, Yeah that did the trick, it ran horribly with the stupid Ageia shit that serves no purpose anyway. I just never noticed it.

I got the english voice pack with italian subs. Too bad the game crashes at the start.Sad
Even applying the 1.11 patch and crack doesn't work.

But by editing the files anyone could turn the dialogues and texts to english. Just wish I'd find some italian guy to do that...or french..LOL

HAHAHAA...got it working...F*cking got it working.Razz

After reading some french forums with a translator I found out that the cause for the crashes was NOD32...had to install the game without NOD32 being on.
And now with the english voices,I can play this.

The only problem now is the texts/dialogues,gotta start translating them,so I can understand how to create a character...LOL.Very Happy

Don't know if anyone actually cares,but i'm using power translator to translate all texts/dialogues to english.
Of course the translations aren't perfect(knowing translators),but I or someone else will have to tweak em a bit after the translation is complete.

After that it will be in english and everyone can enjoy it.Very Happy

I also miss Baldur's Game 1 & 2, Planetscape, Never Winter Night..All the good old real RPG 2d game. 3D killed many type of game (RPG, adventure..)

Actually I and some guys have done one already, >90% of the texts were translated by translator. Wink

I liked how BG was done, especially #2, the GFX were amazing, the sounds, and it didnt take shti to run it. I always loved being in the market or docks cause the sounds were so amazing.

Yep, immersion which is a big part of RPG's imo - sadly lacking in recent games

That took care of it. I tweaked the ini files in the image and re created a new image,that has an english installation instead of a french.

Then I added the english translated dialogues and voices to the data folder(the ones that were translated by a translator)....applied the 1.12 patch and crack.

and the next thing I know...all the dialogues and texts were in PERFECT english...somehow the game tweaked the texts by itself or something like that.
what I mean by perfect is that after a translator has done it's job...the texts are full of nonsense and the sentences hasn't been properly made...but now they are all good.Smile

Makes you wonder why we have to wait until march to get the full english version,when you can have it now,by just doing a little tweaking.Very Happy
